I hate that in the attempt to find an even ground it has suddenly become worse with open racism on both ends. It's saddening that I get hate comments for " looking like every other white girl" simply because I'm white and am open about my thoughts on world peace . It's even more upsetting that nazis and the kkk are bigger than ever feeling enabled and supported by Americas unendingly and openly racist president spewing his uneducated hate whenever he can and offering nothing but denial when he is called out for his actions. The response to this would just be laughed at. I pointed out that Dev Patel is English not Indian although he is of Indian origin and basically everyone called me racist. Trevor Noah argued that a black person cannot be called French and must be called African. This is literally what the far-right argue, that you must be white to be European and even if you are born here you cannot be called English or whatever.
