I Quit My High-Paid Engineer Job To Follow My Passion And Make Comics
Hi everyone, I’m Zack, but I also go by doodlemancer.
I used to be an engineer but found working in a corporate environment stifling, so I made a gamble to go study art instead.
I now make comics about various parts of my life, be it a story from my childhood, or some memorable day to day occurrence.
Writing and drawing comics can be quite challenging but the positive feedback from my fans have really kept me going.

same with me... my parent pushed me to business school and abandoned me from acting dream. After working in the office, I realize "no, I can not do this. My mind is acting all the time". I quit office job, my parents cried, threatened me, but no, I can not live without acting. sorry but not sorry, I am a "bad " kid because I do not listen to my parent.

I have the best ideas for cartoons, tried to get my kid's girlfriend to draw them but kid said NOPE. We all have ideas, only cartoonists take them from captions to something great. Looking forward to more.

Currently studying engineering at uni, but seeing someone like you make the change showed that it's possible. Thank you so much! Your journey is so inspiring! Sometimes people have go give up in achieving their dream job as they have to be realistic in making money. But your story has told that people also can wait the exact time to reach d dream job again. well, everything has its own time. Congrat for u! Hope I can be like u someday
