With all the puns intended, dank memes, and surreal jokes surfing around these past few months, it’s fair to say corona jokes are a kind of humor in their own league.

And if you think of the virus as an invisible and inanimate target, it surely deserves some mockery. Baby boomers and Gen Z-ers gravitate towards relatable and observational humor, like “Anyone else starting to get a tan from the light in your refrigerator?” Many corona jokes give a sense of absurdity in the misery by assuring us that "we’re all in this together." And honestly, this is all we need.

So let’s dive deep into the best corona comedy bits and skits this week compiled by Bored Panda. These are just as good, if not better, than when this whole punapocalypse began. And if you just now joined the bandwagon, be sure to check out part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part 8, and part 9.

We all know the joke about the guy on the roof during a flood, right? Guy gets a warning that a huge storm is coming and is told to evacuate. He stays home because he has faith that God will protect him. The flood waters come, and he climbs onto his roof to avoid the rising waters. He prays for God to save him. A rescue boat comes, guy says 'nope, God will save me'. Rescue helicopter comes, guys says 'nope, I have faith. God will save me.' Guy drowns. Guy gets to heaven and says to God - 'I've been faithful to you my whole life. I prayed, and you didn't save me'. God says - 'my son, I sent a warning to you to evacuate. I sent a rescue boat and helicopter - what more did you want?' Well, let's call masks 'rescue boats' and distancing 'rescue helicopters' and medical advice 'flood warnings'. So we should all listen to the flood warnings, and use rescue boats and helicopters when necessary.

I am a Christian and believe in God and I know that he gives us the intelligence to put a mask on. God can protect us from anything, but he needs our help to make it happen.

Or that people totally ignore the commandment 'to love thy neighbor,' yet demand to hold crowded church services.

That's why I can't stand evangelical republicans. As a Catholic I don't understand how any "religious" person can be a Republican. Thou shall not kill, love thy neighbor, my land have no borders, feed the hungry, cloth the naked and protect the weak. How can you state you believe all this and support any Republican.

I'm a former Catholic. Now agnostic. I agree. Now religion just doesn't make sense to me at all.

Not to mention if God has such control over life why is there even a virus killing everyone?

There’s a logic that guns are needed to protect them from people who have free will, as opposed to viruses that don’t. But relying on an invisible sky daddy for protection seems to be fraught with danger.

No guns & there are STILL ignorant people. Today's mass killers are those who chose to not social distance or wear a face covering.

People are not believer to something they don't see. They cannot see the virus but they can see their enemy from one mile away. Don't include me. I have a mask but I still believe God will help us through.

the logic is that god can't protect you from men because that would go against free will which he refuses to do, therefore men must protect themselves from men

Gun rights are in the constitution for a reason. It's there because our forefathers realized the only way for citizens to keep a tyrannical government in check, is to allow them to be armed. If you don't agree with it, don't live in a country that allows people to own guns.

Meanwhile, in S. Korea, amongst the daily warning notifications regarding the coronavirus, once I received one that said if I ever got discriminated by a government official for being an immigrant, to not hesitate to report them. I think that's pretty nice of them. I feel like this country does care after all. It feels reassuring.

Corona humor has been lifting up our spirits online for the past few months. But that doesn’t mean that all quarantine-related jokes are equally fun and harmless. From what we’ve seen in recent examples, cracking corona jokes live can backfire big time.

And Ellen DeGeneres knows this first-hand. The 62-year-old comedian, who hosted her show from home like many others, upset many fans by comparing her quarantine time to being in jail.

During her opening monologue, the star joked: “This is like being in jail is what it is.” She continued: “Mostly because I’ve been wearing the same clothes for 10 days and everyone in here is gay!” She soon received a lot of critique.

Cheers for Contingency Fee. Most law firms don’t have the decency to call their clients out, they’ll just take their money.

Another corona humor faux pas came from the K-pop star Kim Jaejoong, who announced on his Instagram account that he was in hospital after contracting COVID-19. He soon admitted it was an April Fool’s joke gone wrong and apologized. The BBC reports that Kim has a long history of pranking fans. He previously pretended to faint during a concert and announced a false marriage as part of his April Fool’s jokes.

It is not funny, as they will infect those that they to protect themselves and others and still need to meet people. Like those elderly that noone helps with shopping, and like all healthcare workers!

But this is it in a nutshell. No empathy by lack of knowledge. Tomi pretends to be very knowledgable, but if you listen it's just rapid repetitions of the same words in a different order. She has perfected her shouting matches. And while sometimes there seems to be some actual logic in her reasoning, by the time you come to her conclusion you understand she knows nothing and is nothing more than an obnoxious self-overrated idiot that totally acts on her own fear of losing her privilege. She needs to sit down and shut up if she wants any economy to b***h about in her lifetime. And this goes for a lot of people. Far beyond their whines about corona.

We can relate. And is it not great if the tracker says delivery tommorrow but the fine-grained tracking says "package is currently loaded into delivery car"? And you are like "Oh, oh oh, will it really come today?"
