One evening, a woman from Brazil passed by a nativity scene that had a little surprise in it—the manger was occupied by someone unexpected, yet super adorable. Apparently, a small puppy decided to cozy up in the spot and take a nap. Naturally, the woman who found the pup—Nádia Rosângella—had to take pictures and share the cute encounter with the world, which soon enough went viral.

Talking to The Dodo, Nádia said: “I was surprised. It was so beautiful! Such a lovely and pure scene.” The puppy really seemed to be enjoying her power nap in the manger. Nádia wasn’t sure where the puppy came from, but felt that she was abandoned some time earlier. She believed that the puppy had nowhere to go, thus chose to tuck herself in in the nativity scene.

Nádia felt sorry for the puppy and decided to help her. While she couldn’t take the furry one home herself, upon sharing the adorable photos online, she spread the word about the lonely pup in hopes that someone would take her in.
