Gemma lives in New York, but she’s originally from Barcelona in Spain. Though she’s mainly known for her funny comics, in fact, she does a little bit of everything—from painting to sculpting. In her dog comics, she features not only Mochi, but also herself, her husband Peli, and Mochi’s cute dog brothers Huey and Duey who are also known as the Twinchis.

Over the years, the dog owner’s follower count has grown to a whopping 293k on Instagram and over 160k fans on Facebook.

I have to pay my dog to give up anything she's found - bits of paper, socks, a leaf. She charges me a half a gravy bone.

"Mochi is a very happy and sweet pug that sees life in a particular way. He is super sweet and well behaved, but he can be very sassy and pretty much does whatever he wants,” Gemma wrote on her website.

She added: “His favorite activities include sleeping, eating and going for walks, especially when he is being carried."

Nah. Mostly, when a dog barfs up it's food, it's exactly the same as when it went in. Bar warm.

Though Gemma started the cartoon ‘157 of Gemma’ back in 2012 as a form of escapism from her Architecture final thesis, she stopped in 2013 when she moved to New York to become an architect and a visual artist. However, in 2014, she began drawing comics about lovable Mochi and posting them online for all of us to enjoy.

The Twinchis are Mochi’s twin rescued doggo-broskis who are very curious about the world and incredibly active. Unlike Mochi who enjoys lazing about.

My dog will just run straight in and realise it is very cold and much deeper than expected. She froze once after charging into a flooded path and I had to pluck her out.

If you’re thinking about rescuing a pug after looking at these comics (can’t blame you, I’m considering it, too), there are some things about this particular breed that you should know. After all, it’s better to be prepared than to have a bombshell of a surprise waiting for you down the line.

Chloe Tejada from Canadian Living explains that when she got her dog Rosie, she wasn’t aware that pugs follow their owners around everywhere. Everywhere. Pugs really are the clingy BFs and GFs of dogs. But way cuter.

Oh yes. Though there would be torn flooring and the furniture would be gouged... in fact I can see from my chair some carpeting that was ruined due to a door that dared to not be quite open enough. My dog thinks she's an Irish Wolfhound instead of the tiniest mutt.

Unfortunately, pugs aren’t the healthiest boys and girls in the world. They can develop a whole bunch of nasty health problems. From food allergies and breathing problems to forcing you to take care of their eye and nose folds. So if you want to raise a pug, you ought to know that it’s going to require lots and lots of maintenance. And attention. And cleaning up after, cuz, boy, do they shed a lot.

Fortunately don't have that problem exactly - though one of my dogs does love to wash the other's ears and he really slurps!

Couldn't help but notice that most of the dogs in the park today, that I didn't see over Christmas, all seem considerably more cuddly!

Yeah - one of my dogs has never quite taken to playing 'fetch'. Though I did have a terrier who was insane about it - didn't get a minutes peace if sitting in the garden. She would just end up plonking the ball on my lap if I didn't pick it up fast enough.

I can substitute my cat, Diva, for literally ALL of these, just change the "Woof!" to a "Meow!" and the "Treat crumbs" to uh, "litterbox bits that clung to paws just long enough..." and it's the same. (I know, it's gross--bed gets swept and cleaned a lot. Litter sticks to paws, even with the catch mats at both boxes. Cat's old, OK?) She's the first cat I've EVER met who snored, too. Dainty, cute little female people mistake for a half-grown kitten when they meet her, until I tell them her age... and that she snores. LOL

For the most part, this panel can apply to cats as well. Just replace the WOOF with the **hork** **her-HORK ** of the hairball arriving

I don't believe in kissing dogs. Everytime I go to kiss Scamper (umm, wait, there's an unresolved conflict in those two statements) he tries to BITE my nose. I still get the urge to kiss him frequently. DSCN0025-2...f97875.jpg DSCN0025-2-5e2099cf97875.jpg

Yeah - my husband use to ask that question when we got a rescue puppy. Not sure who else he thought it could be as I've been house-trained for a few years now.

Aw. I had a Wire Fox Terrier who would demand a drink out of my water glass during the night sometimes despite her own water bowl. Caught her helping herself to my wine once... only wine I had in the house so I still drank it *blushes with shame*.
