Traditionally gurners frame their faces with a horse collar, in a procedure that is known as "gurnin' through a braffin'. This is NOT the same woman in both images. Shape of the lips are totally different - and it's not from the lipstick, either. On the left the bottom lip so much fuller. Shape of the eyebrows are different. And just the overall shape of the face, especially the chin. The one on the right looks to weigh quite a bit more, too. Also, the earlobes. It's difficult to see, but in the left image, the earlobes are attached (meaning the bottom of the ear where piercings usually are doesn't "dangle"). In the right image, they "dangle".

There is no possible way those photos are of the same girl. Only a complete moron would believe that it is.
She mentions repeatedly on the reddit is her, that she had just literally woke up, looked bad and snapped a pic. It's her. The eyebrows both have missing hair on the side, the nose dimple under the nose is the same, etc. If anything, she's probably edited the 'pretty' pic slightly.

I feel like all dating apps should require all the people to post best/worst photos side by side. Not only would it make the process more "honest" but I think it would be so much more fun.
I think its funny how many people comment "not the same person!". Well yeah... it is. And even permanent features like teeth can look different from some different angle. Eyebrows are often filled in with makeup and makeup can also make your eyes look bigger etc. The way you feel can also have a HUGE inpact on how you look. The point is: we all have different sides, inside and out. Its not just "insta vs reality".

My mum said that when she went to Papua new guinea, the kids there would always get her attention by tapping on her, and then proceeded to flip their eyelids. She said that it grossed her out no matter how many times they did it.
Most of the photos have proven that double-chin will make you look less pretty than when you will look without one.
No! That’s the point, girl. Any of us can look like s**t and any of us can doctor it up and look way better. Nobody is just beautiful or just ugly. That’s the point. If you feel like the ugly pic on the right all the time I won’t patronize you and call you beautiful but trust me, nine times out of then you can fancy up your appearance and get closer to the left. You shouldn’t feel bad about yourself like this. Appearances aren’t everything but self esteem is important, even if people tell you otherwise. You can learn to look how you want to look / feel.

Makeup is such a big advantage for women. They can make their mediocre/plain faces appealing. Men are stuck with theirs. In the world of online dating when looks are so important, it puts men at a big disadvantage.

Contouring makes everyone’s face look better but the “after” shots aren’t “after shots.” This isn’t before and after makeup. This is girls taking cute pics and then taking the ugliest possible pic they can take. You have to contort your face, not just be ugly without trying lol
