To find out more about the community behind the r/Prematurecelebration subreddit, Bored Panda reached out to one of its moderators, u/N8theGr8, who was happy to share some insights.
The mod told us that the subreddit was created by u/potato88, who’s now a suspended user, back in 2013. Some time ago, though, the subreddit had no moderators, so the admins gave it to the current mod team, u/N8theGr8 said.
But since the subreddit revolves around a “kind of niche topic,” it’s not as active as it could be. “But we have half a million subscribers and it stays relatively active,” they added. Right now, the subreddit has 525k members in total and their community is still growing.

Sure, her posts made me want to visit Bali... On vacation... For a pre-determined length of time... Properly documented... And find a way to HELP the local population in some way. Now THAT is the proper way to elevate ones self: Doing for others. Not taking advantage of others for personal gain.
She claimed afterwards that she was deported because she's gay. Indonesia is a pretty conservative country but that's not why. Bragging on social media about violating any nation's laws is just asking for it.

Why would you deport someone over bragging about how great they feel living there? It's not like they were bragging about how they broke the law or anything.
She was promoting her e-book which included tips on how to get around safety protocols for a move to Bali during the pandemic. She also wrote about overstaying her tourism visa and not paying appropriate taxes.

Nope. Because she basically telling people to come to Bali during coronavirus pandemic (she promoted that she knows how to go to Indonesia during pandemic while the border supposed to be closed). Also she is violating law by staying with tourists visa while making money without paying tax to Indonesian government. She said she doesn't have to pay tax because she makes USD and not IDR.
