And I understand if it's the second language ( like for me) but isn't English the main language everywhere in America ? It shocks me how little they know lol ... Their education systems are f****d... As a child, I remember playing an outdoor game called 'Mississippi'. We had to chant out: MI-SSI-SSI-PPI! To this day, I know how to spell it.
Maybe it's the diff between showing a donation and actually giving it... It only showed.
It takes about one second to pronounce it, but five times longer to read. You know, to count the letters. Making sure all the s and p are there.
I cry when I hear that my grandchildren cannot spell ANYTHING correctly.
I remember learning that word in the first or second grade and singing it all the way home!

The mod told us that the subreddit was created by u/potato88, who’s now a suspended user, back in 2013. Some time ago, though, the subreddit had no moderators, so the admins gave it to the current mod team, u/N8theGr8 said.
But since the subreddit revolves around a “kind of niche topic,” it’s not as active as it could be. “But we have half a million subscribers and it stays relatively active,” they added. Right now, the subreddit has 525k members in total and their community is still growing.
