People say that it’s easy to be right but even easier to be wrong. More often than not, people forget to be careful about what they say online. Quickly typing a few nonsense sentences and pressing "share" might seem like a great idea at the time, but the truth is, they might stay on the internet forever.
The online community called Aged Like Milk is here to remind you of that. As the moderators write in their description, it’s "a subreddit dedicated to all those things in media and elsewhere that didn’t stand the test of time, at all." More than 795k members are on a mission to find and document ridiculous posts that quickly turned sour.
Take a look at some of the worst takes Bored Panda has collected from this group and upvote your favorite ones. Also, if you’re hungry for more examples of how people’s opinions came back to bite them, be sure to check out Part 1 of this post right here.

This Did Not Age American At All
This is really good. Especially when you consider Superman himself is an actual alien. Not even from this Earth, and yet, he's here to help. Hides his hero identity, trying to blend in and living a seemingly normal life.... As an immigrant, I love that concept.
There's nothing wrong with the image or how it aged, except that it's fiction. The 50's was still pre-civil rights Jim Crow era, and while things are better today they're not even close to the ideal promoted in the poster. The people who downvoted Sarah's post are almost certainly morons, but I suspect they're also racists reacting to being told they're part of a racist culture.
Load More Replies...It may be a veiled attempt at identifying racism, and speaking against it, but hardly like communism. Good god. And I bet your ball cap is red, too!
Load More Replies...Well, Superman's idea of America is the America I thought I lived in as a kid and the one I want as an adult. It's heartbreaking that that America is as real as Superman
I see way less racism and way more politeness where I live. Be kind to all of you can. This didn't age badly. The world will always have idiots and jerks. We just need to make sure they're the extreme minority
That's the problem, the extreme are the majority. Better yet those in government and controlling everything are awful and extremely messed up individuals. It's those who hold all the power that are really the problem. It's a bunch of the same old like minded people who take advantage of the rest of us. It's unfortunate to say but that will never change.
Load More Replies...You go Superman! This is what America is supposed to be like. Should be on the wall of every republican bedroom
A lot of them like to run around with their pocket constitutions, but that doesn't mean they understand it.
Load More Replies...I'm confused--is this poster bad? I thought the idea for this thread was things that didn't age well? This poster is great. It's the people in America who can be so un-American. I like this poster a lot!
It's bad to racists. They're probably the ones criticizing it.
Load More Replies...That is what has the potential to "make america great", not what the orange cheeto and his minions espoused.l
Racism, fascism, clown cult, where chanting "Putin" is now the new agenda of the Republicans. undemocratic, unamerican. That's treason!!!
This didn't age poorly; it's still true. Racism and things are un-American. The idiots spouting otherwise are un-American, and no screeching about patriotism will change that.
America's population was 89% white in the 50's, the fact that 2/7 people aren't white is pretty impressive for the 50"s
I've actually been looking for these since things here r getting out of hand. There r more including commercials with old time celebs
Do you know any body that's so-andso American? Wrong,They are Americans all!
wait- wAIT- superman... noooo- .......s u p e r m a n, why..
"If I go crazy, then will you still call me Superman ?......" 88962205_3...711f48.jpg
This could be a poster put up in all primary schools and not only in USA..
We never heard this "preached" during that time period. There was a lot of discrimination, especially towards people of color. I doubt the accuracy of this poster.
Actually it did age well. It still rings true. Not the creator's fault that a certain political party refuses to follow it.
This was so wholesome a d aged very well wtf, if only people listened to this.
LOL. LOTS of heavily downvoted comments on this one. Guess some feelings were hurt by those calling out the hypocrisy of this considering the time in America that this was supposedly made.
Thats really good actually racism is still a thing I know as a Black Female so I dont know why this aged horribly ???
Im confused why is this on the list.if anything it should be in ever school
Oh they were so closeted in the 50's . Things with racism are better here since then .... unfortunately not by much
The 1950s were a bit rough for Captain America. His comics were discontinued, then back on, but didn't last long. It was in the 1960s that the character was truly revived in the entertainment industry. Superman was definitely more popular. Maybe there actually ARE posters with Captain America as well, it's just not this one. But, personally, I prefer it to be Superman for a poster like this because he's an alien.

Says who? Bored Panda? And FYI, the racism i encounter most often; is from immigrants. They hate their former neighbouring countries back home; hate other religions. Give me a break.
Especially when helpless schoolkids are indoctrinated with Critical Race Theory.

Um...Superman must be so ashamed. And I wonder how many "good ol' boys" would choose Superman as their favorite superhero?
That was way ahead of its time, but don't get carried away.

According to Know Your Meme, "aged like milk" is a catchphrase that mainly describes social media posts that have grown increasingly troublesome since their inception. When people throw their opinions left and right, some of them are bound to be wrong. Well, they might look fine at the time, but time truly shows which beliefs aged poorly by completely breaking modern social norms.
While the origin of the phrase is unknown, the earliest usage comes from a 2006 comedy special Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself. A puppet called Walter said "She's aging like milk!" in one part of the dialog. Since then, the clip received more than 4.2M views on YouTube and quickly spread to other platforms, forums, and threads.

A Daily Mail Article From December, 2000 (Reupload)
There's a reason it's called the Daily Fail. Consistently on the wrong side of history since the day it was founded. This is the newspaper that supported the rise of the Na zi s, opposed women's rights, denied (and still does) the existence of climate change... A couple of weeks ago they were still publishing articles about the dangerous far-right militias in Ukraine and how Putin was right to be worried about the threat from them...
Sk8 Or Die
If you ever felt slightly embarrassed about something you shared online, don’t worry. After all, social media is the place for us to vent about politics, culture, sports, our personal lives, and more, so you’re definitely not the only person to ever have a bad take. In fact, more than half of Americans (57 percent) say they have social media regrets. One in six routinely rue their decision to post at least once a week, with Millennials being the most regular offenders.

These numbers come from YouGov Omnibus' survey where they asked U.S. citizens about posting or texting something they regret. Many people admitted they were less anxious about sounding silly compared to a few years back. However, they are more worried about damaging their reputation at work — 22 percent said they are concerned that a questionable post might affect their career.
Results also showed that 14 percent of participants feared they may hurt relationships with family members or partners by sharing misguided images or messages. Plus, women were slightly more likely to feel troubled about social media blunders damaging their close relationships than men.

If you’re wondering how to make sure your social media posts won’t come back to bite you, always think twice before sharing something online. Ask yourself if there’s anything in this particular post or comment that could potentially hurt you in the future. Think about whether it might defame a specific view or lifestyle. Also, determine whether your words will actually contribute to the conversation or whether they will only create more noise.

Also, it’s always good to self-reflect and review your older media posts. It’s recommended to delete inactive accounts, provocative or controversial topics and discussions, and anything that might make you look overly cynical or mean. You have a larger audience than you think, so it’s quite easy to overshare and sacrifice your privacy. And just remember, if you ever end up posting something extremely cringe-worthy, there’s a big chance the members of the Aged Like Milk group will pick it up and will make sure to share it with the whole community.

What's worse is the people who didn't make it out of Afghanistan. We're talking about a history of religious violence that has an almost unrivaled brutality in today's world. And we just turned the lions loose on unsuspecting civilians and then shrugged as the lion do what they do. Worse, we gave the Taliban weapons.
