A picture is worth a thousand words... At least that's exactly how people feel when seeing illustrations by a mysterious Japanese artist Avogado6.

The illustrator and video editor don't share many personal details about his life. "I am an ordinary person who likes chemistry," he writes on his Twitter profile, but the meaningful drawings of the artist are far from ordinary.

Avogado6 manages to create sentimental, vivid images by drawing feelings and emotions that might seem hard to describe with words. And sometimes his sad drawings don't really need an explanation, as they convey the emotions so well, often hiding a harsh social issue behind them.

The artist has more than 650k followers on Twitter and has published two books. And his success is sure to grow bigger with time, as this Japanese art maestro delivers new deep meaning illustrations very often, deciphering problems with society and our inner fears better with each one.

Look at the shadow... it seems that his own chipped parts are casting that chipping shadow. Maby it meens that we are our greatest enemies. I know that I can be great... as long as I trust myself. On other hand, when I am insecure, I am dumb as hell 😉😎

For me this is so deep and powerful. I had so much dark moments in my life, fighting monsters in my mind, trying to find a light. And even though those moments are the hardest, I am so happy I went through them, because it shaped me into a person I am today. Light is beautiful, but darkness, that is when you really have a chance to learn and grow.

Well, light is blinding, darkness is what you need to take a rest....

No. This is a lost love. She still has a place in his heart. She is blackened and shadowy meaning she is gone. Yet if you look she has little twigs growing on her, meaning the memory of her still has a hold on him. He can't let go. He loved her too much.

THeres comfort in the darkness. Depression isolates you until you’re afraid of living any other way. It’ll be there when nothing else is. Sad.

Everyone has a little bit of darkness inside them. It's best to embrace it and come to terms with it, is it not?

No matter how much you claw at it, it’s still suffocating, enveloping, and it comes from within so there’s no escape.

Being smothered by the darkness from within. It looks to me like that darkness is from his own heart.

You want to be held by someone you love but in the end, the someone who will always understand the real you is yourself. You yourself will be forever embraced by the darkness that grows on you like jungle vines and will sap out your joy. This is my interpretation of the image.

No matter how hard you try once the darkness has taken a hold of you it will never let you go.

This illustration is more poetic than much of the artwork that is out there today.

This says to me "So many things that want to plug into you. To use your energy and lifeforce, and drain you." Perhaps referring also to the electronics and devices that seem to consume our lives, in this illustration, quite literally.

I may be looking way too deep into these but heres what i thought: The flower could be repesenting love and the picking of the petals could be playing on that whole "he loves me, he loves me not" rhyme sooo it could be representing a broken heart and the more times the person's heart was broken the more desensitised the person became, leading on to become a doll which is made of plastic and emotionless...?
