Lady Gaga’s Lead Keyboardist Invents 360° Keyboard With 294 Keys
Lady Gaga’s shows are about to get a whole lot more awesome thanks to her lead keyboardist, Brockett Parsons, who has invented a wild circular synthesizer with 294 piano keys that he and his team of inventors have called the piano Arc (or the “Brockettship”).
This piano is not for the faint of heart, uniting three 88-note keyboards and a 30-key control section contiguously with multiple forms of digital inputs and outputs. Parsons writes, “the musical instruments’ key dimensions where the white/black keys intersect are the same as a traditional piano, and it seems to translate easily to most keyboard techniques. That being said, this is NOT your grandmother’s piano.”
When asked why he created this amazing type of instrument, he said, “There’s really no reason to do this. This wasn’t made to make money, obviously. We just felt that we wanna do some cool invention idea.” In that case, mission accomplished!

Load More Replies...Zorak had one first. When I saw Zorak's keyboard, I realized at some point it would have an odd jump between the highest and lowest octave, then I realized a digital keyboard could be programmed to just keep going up or down in octave depending on your direction of rotation. At some point, it would go up or down out of the range of human hearing, though.
Come on Panda! Jarre 30 years ago used this circular MIDI controllers (created by LAG), and they were way cooler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCLEZM_N0K8 And before that, George Lucas, Return of Jedi. Look for pics.
Jarre came up with the idea of crazy keyboards before gaga was born, copycats aint cool
Even more rounded keyboards, pre-dating this, BoredPanda: https://www.google.com.mx/search?q=lag+circulaire&safe=off&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=900&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwje5K3pxbbSAhVosFQKHSneD1wQ_AUIBygC

Wow, I see so much music and marketing potential here. I think this guy seriously need a marketing strategist! Keep your words as concise as possible or use music instead of it, Alright! Best luck to you!! True artist!
Actually Ovi stole the idea from Pianoarc. Once he found out how much they cost he ripped it off. Only a fraction of his actually played unlike the pianoarc which is entirely functional. Pianoarc has the circular keyboard patented.
