50 Pictures And Posts That Made It To The Online “Gallery Of Inexplicable Stupidity” (New Pics)
Those who say nothing is infinite clearly haven't considered human ignorance. Luckily, the subreddit r/facepalm has plenty of examples to convince them.
This online community (which also calls itself the 'Gallery of Inexplicable Stupidity') unites over 6.4 million members, and they're constantly sharing the dumbest statements and actions they've witnessed both online and in real life.
So continue scrolling to dive into delusion, and if you want to explore it more when you're done, check out our previous publication on the same subreddit.

They're Everywhere
“Muh Guns!!!”
So often miserable people want others to be miserable like them. The gun toting gun lobbyists of the US will never see that if the public don’t have guns they can’t shoot each other, themselves or family members, even by accident.
If, however, these pictures get to you now and make you want to click away, I'll argue to go even further, turn off your browser, put away your phone, and disconnect. After all, it's the weekend.
Sure, taking a walk outside without scrolling might seem dull. But you might be surprised where you can end up if you allow your mind to roam free. "Boredom is a symptom, not a condition. In other words, no one is born bored. It arises due to certain conditions," Manhattan-based psychotherapist, speaker, and author Sean Grover told Bored Panda.
"Underneath boredom is always frustration. When frustration is met with passivity, boredom is a natural outcome," Grover, who has 25 years of experience working with patients in group therapy in clinics, schools, and health centers, said.
Let's Go Spend 10k On Jewelry
A home, enough food and access to a decent education and free healthcare. This is possible for everyone but the rich ones really want to keep the plebs in their place.

Do You Consider This A Human Being?
The psychotherapist said that boredom is often close friends with feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. And the best way to cure it is a counterintuitive one—surrender.
"Boredom can trigger enormous creativity when we tune in to the underlying frustration and come up with creative solutions," Grover highlighted. "Many inventions came out of tackling boredom and resolving it."

"Homosexual" behaviour is far more widespread than people (largely detached from and ignorant of the natural world) know. Which makes claims of such activity as "unnatural" rather pitiful if not hilarious.
Immigrant Prisoners Are Lease To Be Slaves
Unfortunately true. Remember the chain gangs? One can only hope that this modern version at least involves some degree of choice by the convict and some recompense, but it's a very slippery slope.
To illustrate this point, the psychotherapist provided a real-life example. "I work in therapy with a young man who was working from home during the pandemic. He became incredibly bored with his daily life. Through exploring his feelings in therapy, he decided to start playing the piano again."
"He began practicing, and later joined a jazz quartet."
"Now it is one of the most rewarding things in his life. He plays in clubs throughout Manhattan and invites his friends."
Which One Of The Many Mass Shootings Are We Talking About?
I'm sorry I have to admit when my friends were discussing a school shooting, I asked which one. Now when I hear shooting I just ask was it USA. If yes then it's another day, outside I'm interested a little more. It's a bad thing to say, but you have shootings literally every week in schools and I cannot keep up. My country had one shooting, one bullet was shot from hunting rifle. In the last 32years. How? And we also have teenage prisoners, and vandals, and murders but nothing compared to USA. Most of our killings are drinking gone wild and one dies. It's not perfect but guns are not allowed and police cannot shoot the criminal in the back of the body, cannot do fatal shootings. Why do you allow this? Also how come you allow insurance companies decide who gets to live, if you expect doctors to act under oath they gave. You literally make the doctors profession invalid when giving treatment decision to nonmedical persons in stuffy office looking to hit commission

As Grover pointed out, that whole thrilling journey started from unpacking boredom and coming up with a creative solution. Something that has become increasingly rare in our loud world.
With stimulation right at our fingertips, our tolerance for being bored has greatly diminished.
In fact, two-thirds of American adults routinely look at their phones even when they're not making a sound.

This Is Getting Really Sad Now
As a secondary school teacher for 25 years, if you worked out the hourly rate for teachers mathematically, we would be on less than 16 dollars per hour.
In one study, published in the Academy of Management Discoveries, researchers lulled a group into boredom by instructing them to sort beans by color while they gave another group a far more interesting craft to do. Afterward, each group was directed to come up with good excuses for tardiness. The bored group bested their counterparts on both the number and creativity of ideas, as evaluated by objective outside judges.
The It Crowed
Been there, done that. 2 hrs to switch on a power outlet for an IBM 3274 control unit (1980s), which i had been assured 'yes, OF COURSE we checked that!.'
Yeah, and I once asked for a copy of a floppy disk and got a xerox-copy. :D
Load More Replies...See this is why every contract for IT needs a "moron clause" -If a 12 year old could have fixed it we upcharge by 500%- bet companies suddenly tell their employees "you better tell IT the 100% truth, because if they come here for a power button it's your a*s"
The lowest time we bill is 2 hours, so if you ask me to do a 2 second task i can bill 2 hours (roughly 250-300€) depending on our service contract.
Load More Replies...Salute to all those IT people out there havin a tough day, and if it makes you feel better, I tell everyone who has a tech problem, to try turning their computer on using the power button first.
"Have you tried to turn it off and back on again? ... have you tried to turn it on? .. oh it's working, great. Here is the bill for 2 hours work since that is the lowest amount of time i can charge you. "

Maybe you would like to drive three hours to push a button, Dan?

Isn't most of your job based upon the lack of knowledge of others though?
Well, i still be nice since i get paid for the time and driving around is kinda relaxing. And i have somthing to laugh my a*s off once i'm back in our office.
My two favorites. One, trying to troubleshoot a power supply problem. Long story short, the person had the power strip plugged into itself. Two, "There is nothing on my screen." Another long story short, None System Disk Error is not nothing.
My Dad's been in IT for about as long as I've been alive. I apologize when I have to go to him with what is effectively a stupid problem, but I just don't have his expertise - in other words, I am the cause of his d-ishness.
Yeah, my husband driving 45 minutes to plug in a copier. The thing is, I was going to throw a load of wash in the dryer and the dryer wouldn't start. I was going to call for service and my husband says "Is it plugged in?" The plug liked to work itself loose but it still looked like it was plugged in. I would of been one of those people.
Was it in the US? Over the past few years I think we have seen that a large proportion of the population cannot solve the simplest binary problems: on/off....right/wrong.
Maybe if ANYONE OUTSIDE OF TECH, TOOK 1 HOUR TO SEE HOW YOUR PHONE IS MADE, most people would be like... "I've been a d**k to IT, my whole ignorant life." But it's fine, Facebook works again.
One of the very few positives to come out of the last two years is more people, video chat, face time, skype, teams etc . Show me, you switching the button on and off again please 😊
😂😂😂 yes. Like I do believe you but it's company policy due to covid that you have to show it to me or record a video showing me you pushing the button. So many issues resolved without driving and being rude to people
Load More Replies...Been there. We did tell the client that it would cost £60 per hour or part hour plus the travel costs. Or we would help them over the phone. They wanted me to visit. It was a neat 200 mile round trip to essentially wiggle a plug back in even asking them over the phone if it was pushed all the way into the device. They got a big bill and we’re not happy. They paid it anyway.

What’s The Problem?
We Did Everything But
How Is This Possible
Another study concluded that boredom motivates people to seek out novelty. Our minds simply wander when we're bored, and we think of new things to try.
The goal, according to Grover, is to dig into the boredom and ask ourselves what is the message it's sending us. "Are you creatively stagnant? Are you lonely? Does your body need exercise? Are you engaged in enough stimulating activities? Are you trying new things?" the psychotherapist said there can be many.

"I encourage people to explore boredom in therapy and consider it a message from their own subconscious," Grover said. "The message is often that they want to lead a more satisfying life."
"Then, pursue new passions with gusto!"

I think that whoever made that comparison misunderstood the point. Rich people don't wear brands with visible logo, that's true. Wearing a full-matching Adidas suit makes you look cheap, that's true. But the clothes rich people wear are extremely expensive, for they are tailored, fitting, and made with the best material.

Yep. The question about whether easy access to guns is good or bad for the country, or makes us safer or less safe, is purely political. 🙄
