We all want to have at least one perfect picture of ourselves. If we don't hire a professional photographer, however, getting one proves to be an impossible task. Maybe it's the bad lighting, maybe the composition is flawed, but there's always something that's ruining the shot. Luckily for us, Photoshop wizard James Fridman (previously here, here, and here) is taking requests from people who want their images tweaked. But if you decide to ask him for help, take extreme care. Not all of James' edits are what you'd expect.
From pulling car keys from their belly button to making a bald man's head look like ice cream, Fridman has his own way of tackling the imperfections in the images he gets. I don't know what i love most about him, the way he's making fun of their requests for some people, or the fact he's helping to build confidence for some other people , by giving them not only an advice, but also the original pic, where nothing was wrong to begin with.

Yes, I hope she gets to find these kinds of people. But, please, know that it's not herself the one to "surround herself with bad people", it's her... luck? You can't always choose the people around you. I believe you're aware of this, but the way you said it sounds like "surrounding yourself" with certain kinds of people is just so easy, but it's not.

He's known for humor and snarkiness (which is quite entertaining), but it's so great to see how he took this serious and even gave some great advice. Kudos to him.

She's beautiful! Very respectful and polite too, judging by her message. I hope she takes his advice and is able to build her self-confidence. She's lucky because she is young and has many years ahead of her to keep trying to be best version of herself. She must, however, change her environment, and the people in it., as soon as she can.

Way to go James for your words of wisdom to this beautiful young lady and for leaving the photo as is - perfect. Perhaps the bullies will see how much support she has here and learn a lesson.
I think he is right. If he did edit her photo to make her look better, then he is giving her false confidence or hope and when people actually see her in person, they'll say the same things and hurt her even more. The point here is to love yourself, love who you are, love your body, after all everyone is unique. Loving yourself and your body is the beginning self confidence and shows that you respect yourself. You are beautiful just the way you are.

I'm almost 60 now, I went thru all that most my life. Surround yourself with kind loving beings that actually likes themselves. I realized no matter what anyone does, no matter "How Great" people will dislike it and can be mean. Then the best thing I realized was no matter what someone says or does... It is Not About You!!!! It's About Them!!! They are Actually talking About Themselves!!! Everyone's brain thinks different, so they see, understand, believe differently than you... they'll mouth off whats in their brain. Girl - you ARE pretty, and even though they are nice, I would shape your eyebrows a little differently to make your face more delicate (a little thinner and starting a little further apart); put some lipstick on you (using a light shade in neutral/brown or pink or peach which would make them look a little plumper) and lift your hair at the crown. If I asked him to photoshop me something I'd make the description of what I want done so specific, I'd like to see what he comes up with then. Also, the people who said 'I love your work James" have definitely been somewhere else while all these kind of photos were posted or they just like his creative approach on photoshopping and knew they would end up with something stupid but funny.
