This one seems a little suspicious. Hedgehogs don't have quills, they have spines. They are pretty dull, but even if the dog bit down hard enough to get them through his skin, very few would come out of the hedgehog. They don't have barbs like a porcupine, so they wouldn't get embedded in the dog's skin.
