I find that I rarely pity anyone with a disability because I'm often too utterly impressed with how they've adapted and live full and wonderful lives. I think its easy for us to pity disabled people because as non-disabled people we would probably pity ourselves for a while if our situation suddenly changed, which of course is natural for a time, but I find our human ability to adapt and be happy within that adaptation amazing.

HE CAN'T READ IT!!!! how stupid do you have to be to put up a joke by a blind guy about being blind that is inaccessible to blind people using a computer?

I have worked with blind (there is no other way of describing it) and severely disabbled people - It is wonderful to see a paralysed patient operate their entire room only by using a straw - open curtains - turn on TV, Summon a carer- i was Utterly priveliged to see and join in in this
