Here at Bored Panda, where two thirds of the staff are women, we understand the struggle too well. all of it is real. What are you talking about? When I had my period I was never regular and I could get it at any time. In the middle of the night I would wake up because the cramps were so bad. Huge migraines before and during, and bad PMS. Please, it's not a question of believing or not people, these are real symptoms but some women don't have them. Happy for these women.
I just started my period today, I’m 11 years old and I am going on vacation for thanksgiving for two weeks and I have my flight tomorrow morning at 3:30 AM. Welp, this sucks. And I have actually never had a migraine, and I don’t have acne, and I eat so much greasy food, and I don’t have oily skin, it’s like I skipped puberty lol. I still look beautiful in my own eyes! :D
Greasy food doesn't cause oily skin. Also, now that you're 14, are any of these statements changed?

It's different for each person, so nobody can tell you precisely. I got mine when I was 12, I think. And it was no big deal because I have three elder sisters, so I was prepared. It's just that someday you go to the bathroom to urinate, but you spot the blood stain on your underwear. Nothing, just change your underwear and wear an absorbent pad for the start. As for the rest, I think your mother, sister, aunt, or any other available woman in your family will tell you better. If not, maybe you can ask your teacher (if you have any that you feel comfortable talking with).

I have heavy periods. Let's just say, if period blood could be donated to the blood bank, I could save the lives of millions!
dang.... us guys have it easy.. i guess it really is worse than getting kicked in the nuts.
I have three heavy days with clots that make it hard to even leave the house. I've given birth and the cramps aren't too far off from the discomfort of contractions. The pill helped for awhile but then my body decided to break through bleed all month on them....Periods Suck and I would pay to never have one again.
Just wondering why people say "On her period" when we used to say "Has her period." Why is it on? And don't say "riding the cotton pony" either...
why does everyone say "on her period" when we used to say "has her period"? How are you "on it"? and don't say "riding the cotton pony"!
I am woman but don't relate to these... my periods always have been completely painless except some occasional bloating for more than 15 years. no PMS either. maybe i am one of lucky ones...
Your username really does apply here. I can't count the times I've had to miss class or work because i was either in too much pain or bleeding so much that my tampons couldn't keep up.

This is where I have difficulty with men wanting to be women, until you can get a fully armed uterus, you're missing out.
Hint: it is called "birth control pill". Wink. Wink. Solves a lot of those problems.
You bleed out your crotch suffer extreme pain for days have everything bother u and still have to figure out what shirt and pants match (guys any shirt and pants will do) and do makeup hair bathe get the kids ready (you're probably single and never had kids) while trying to pretend everything is wonderful. Then after 15 years of bleeding every month u push out a 7pound child that your only job was to knock her up. U got it easy
