I disagree. The first pic is another room. He / she followed the trail to the scene of the crime - a room with a different floor covering. And the dog just looks different because of the lighting.

How you guys are able to take a picture like that is beyond me! When my partner's corgi comes toto wake me up in the morning, the only thing that comes through my mind is to hug and kiss her. My phone is probably not even on the list of things to think about :-D 🐕❤🐈
My corgi wakes me up every morning and I never ignore him. :)
