We all have weird quirks that are fairly uncommon, to say the least. For the fear of being judged, we keep these weird things to ourselves; however, that doesn't stop us from being curious about what others have to hide.

So, to indulge in this secret knowledge, X (formerly Twitter) user @drakesbrother started a thread asking people to share their bad habits, weird confessions, and interesting things they do. The thread was quickly flooded with the strangest habits.

Turns out, lots of us have funny habits that make perfect sense to us but might seem odd to others. Something like when someone has to read the last page of a book before they can start it from the beginning. One thing’s clear: what seems like quirky habits to some of us is just another day in the office for others.

Some confessed to measuring how long something will take in songs, others said that each time they get in their car, they make sure no one is sitting in the back seat. While some of these weird things to do sound a little bit odd, let’s not pretend you don't relate.

Scroll below for the list of confessions from regularly weird people, and don't forget to share your own strange habits in the comments.

This is incredibly common. Everyone does this, actually. Intrusive thoughts. I tend to think “how much can I key this car”.

My girlfriend does this a lot. I end up answering her and she just replies "nobody is talking to you, talking to myself. mind your own business." LOL

Cupboard doors need to be closed when not in use. It's not that I won't necessarily be able to sleep, it's just why would they be open?

this is like driving with loud music, but then turning the volume down to look for parking or for an address.

You need a dawg, Ms. ASH! You'll never be afraid ever again in your life. I ha e a German Shepherd and she protects me from everything. Just the other day an earthworm popped out of the ground while I was weeding and she barked her head off trying to "protect" me. Lol

I do this also. I dont worry about anyone breaking in because if they heard me singing they would just walk back out.

Smart move. I was home alone once vacuuming upstairs. Came downstairs to find a door broken open and huge footprints outside in the snow. Luckily I never saw him. Maybe a cat burglar afraid of the vacuum?

The solution is to listen to your music at a volume loud enough to drive away any potential opportunistic criminals by giving them the impression that you are hosting an impromptu rave.

i do this even if i’m not home alone. Or when i’m maybe just laying in bed on bp or something. also i find it strange that only when i’m alone do i hear strange noises. BOTH times i was alone at my dad’s house i heard someone breething. The second time i heard a loud sigh and footsteps. I armed myself with a pen and waited in the “visibility spot” i had picked earlier. This spot can see basically the entire downstairs other than around a small corner and the wall directly behind it.

When I shower, outside noise sounds like someone calling my name, so I turn the water off to listen, but it is not someone calling me.

Everyone knows that loud noise takes away the eye-juice that helps you find streets, shops, other things.

i live in the country with fencing/gate, but even when the gate is closed, if i'm vacuuming, all the doors have to be locked just for this reason! it doesn't help that when i was younger, my sisters would sneak up on me and yank the cord out of the wall & jump at me me while yelling, just to scare the c**p out of me...

More sad than weird. That women have these legitimate fears and never have any peace of mind.

My husband always slept with a fan going. I was OK with it. Since he died, I won't sleep with a fan on because I'm afraid I won't hear someone breaking in.
