We all have weird quirks that are fairly uncommon, to say the least. For the fear of being judged, we keep these weird things to ourselves; however, that doesn't stop us from being curious about what others have to hide.

So, to indulge in this secret knowledge, X (formerly Twitter) user @drakesbrother started a thread asking people to share their bad habits, weird confessions, and interesting things they do. The thread was quickly flooded with the strangest habits.

Turns out, lots of us have funny habits that make perfect sense to us but might seem odd to others. Something like when someone has to read the last page of a book before they can start it from the beginning. One thing’s clear: what seems like quirky habits to some of us is just another day in the office for others.

Some confessed to measuring how long something will take in songs, others said that each time they get in their car, they make sure no one is sitting in the back seat. While some of these weird things to do sound a little bit odd, let’s not pretend you don't relate.

Scroll below for the list of confessions from regularly weird people, and don't forget to share your own strange habits in the comments.

This is incredibly common. Everyone does this, actually. Intrusive thoughts. I tend to think “how much can I key this car”.

My girlfriend does this a lot. I end up answering her and she just replies "nobody is talking to you, talking to myself. mind your own business." LOL

Sometimes I even nod my head for a yes or when I'm having an argument with myself in my head. And my wife goes "what's wrong with you?"

I "plan" all the time. Like I think of scenarios that will probably never happen and respond what I will say and what they would possibly say and just have this delusional fantasy in my head that may or may not ever happen. When/if it does happen, I never follow the script I practiced so hard for. lol I'm weird what can I say

I got caught doing this while in the bathroom yesterday after a shower. I was having a conversation with myself about something (I don't remember what) and when I got out, my spouse spoke out and asked... from two rooms away... "were you talking to yourself?" I played it off, like "oh... I was singing this song I couldn't get out of my head" when clearly I was in an engaging debate with this imaginary person that happened to just be me.

I do this all the time. But often I'm zoning out in class when I do it, so I'm supposed to be quiet, so I end up starting at the wall making faces as though I were talking to someone telepathically.

I only do this through having dogs, like i will be crossing the road without the dogs and i will say out-loud "come on then buddy", i must seem bonkers to anyone listening, i'm just obviously used to talking to the dogs of course.

I do that too, the interesting part is that I always do it in English, because I find it more natural, I don't really know why! (My main language is Spanish and I live in Mexico)

I was just talking myself though a process of removing a tricky screen from my bedroom window and and did this... "ok, just move the screen a little to the left..." and I thought "do other people talk to themselves? It seriously just did this and do it all the time, I think it started with talking to the dog and has progressed.

I always had conversations with myself (or pretending that i talk to other people). When I was young I though that I was the only one and I was crazy. But last years I was living alone in a new country without anybody to talk to (exept the dog, and she doesnt talk much...). I started talking out loud to myself (i guess to still head my voice). I felt very nice but I am so scared to do it in public, so people doesnt think that I am insane...

My husband does that, the "aloud" part usually in the bathroom. I hear a murmur, and instant thought is *he needs something, I should check it* followed by *nah, he's just weird again*. 😅

I have done the same thing since I was a kid. Sometimes all you need to do to solve a problem or commit something to memory is to say it out loud. It may sound weird, but when the words bounce back off the wall and into your ears, it just makes jumbled thoughts suddenly seem so crystal clear.

I talk to myself too, sometimes my husband will see me looking for something and I'll say "Where did you put that you idiot?" And for The first year of our relationship he thought I was talking to him. Now he knows that's just my code for "you should know Where you left this by now"
