We all have weird quirks that are fairly uncommon, to say the least. For the fear of being judged, we keep these weird things to ourselves; however, that doesn't stop us from being curious about what others have to hide.

So, to indulge in this secret knowledge, X (formerly Twitter) user @drakesbrother started a thread asking people to share their bad habits, weird confessions, and interesting things they do. The thread was quickly flooded with the strangest habits.

Turns out, lots of us have funny habits that make perfect sense to us but might seem odd to others. Something like when someone has to read the last page of a book before they can start it from the beginning. One thing’s clear: what seems like quirky habits to some of us is just another day in the office for others.

Some confessed to measuring how long something will take in songs, others said that each time they get in their car, they make sure no one is sitting in the back seat. While some of these weird things to do sound a little bit odd, let’s not pretend you don't relate.

Scroll below for the list of confessions from regularly weird people, and don't forget to share your own strange habits in the comments.

I think that's pretty common, although, as mom pointed out, it's a stupid strategy. You may get too full by food you don't like that much and not fully experience the joy of eating what you like the most. Anyway, I can't help it.

I do it because, in the case of ending up too full, it's easier for me to eat something i like best than something meh.

I used to do that, but now that I'm older, I eat the best first because I get full fasters - also since I'm that much closer to death, I don't want to take a chance that I might miss the best part.

Same, but it sometimes backfires when you're a parent of young children who end up eating the thing you were saving for last because you like it best.

This is not a weird habit, since most people I know do that for these same reasons. I, however, realised, for me personally, it's better to finish off with the least liked food because if I have that nice taste staying in my mouth, it makes me eat more. ♥

I always eat my food in an order. I don’t go back and forth when it comes to the parts of the meal. No biting a roll, then chicken, then going back. Always finish one before another.

When doing any kind of professional tastings, you’re always supposed to eat the least pungent to the most pungent so you can overpower the last flavor with the next one. Same logic applies here, and I definitely do it.

Yes I did this when I was young. Now I'm old I just shovel it in and enjoy it. But it must be colourful - peas, carrots, corn, potatoes etc.

So; basically, you eat the least desirable thing you have each time. If you do it the other way (best to least), by the time you get to the last one, you are eating the best on your plate.

Cold green beans. When I was a little girl, I hated green beans so I would eat them last. They were always cold by then, with butter cingealing on them. My Grandmother finally said, "Look, Mish. Eat the green beans first and get them out of the way so you can enjoy the rest of your dinner". This became a motto for procrstinating over a task you hate. Do it first and get it out of the way.

Do the same: Asparagus from the end, looking forward to savor the tips. Like a flash comes a fork form the side to pick up as much as possible before I can react. My husband who eats all the the tops and leaves mostly the stems. Endless fight every asparagus season.

I do that all the time. I once had a packet of Wine Gums during a family holiday where I was going to leave the red ones for last because they're my favourite. Unfortunately, my dad came across the packet and when he saw the red wine gums... he ate them all thinking I didn't want them.

I used to do this until my Grandad noticed me doing it with a dinner one night and took the small bit of a T-Bone I had been saving till last. I don't know what it's actually called but it's the most tender part of a T-Bone. He gobbled it up and then looked at me and said 'Never save the best till last, eat it first, like life young girl. If you are always waiting for the best you may never get it because someone took it first.' I always ate the tasty, spicy and exciting things in life and on the plate. I miss that wild man. Years later I told him how that had taught me a life lesson and he said 'no young girl I just wanted to eat your steak' ha ha ha So I went back to eating least to best. ha ha
