The internet often likes to tell us that the world is messed up. You open up the news and there's a shady corporate deal that will probably take a huge toll on the environment. You click away to a social media platform and your friends are sharing links to the article you just tried to escape. It can be very difficult to break this cycle. So the Facebook group "Heck, this is super wholesome" is here to help.
It's a place where people share anything that makes them happy. They keep their posts clean and try to be nice to one another. It sounds too good to be true, I know, I've been on Twitter, but I assure you, everything's real. This group is legit. And here's a collection of its most popular posts to prove it.

The owner of "Heck, this is super wholesome", Yuki Rahman, told Bored Panda she launched it at the start of the pandemic in 2020. "I thought of creating a group where we would only share wholesome vibes to make people happy and that's how it all began," she said.
And it immediately took off. Even though it's still a baby in terms of Facebook group age, "Heck, this is super wholesome" already has over 122K members.
This post made me cry, love is beautiful in all its forms, sometimes we need a little reminder of that. Thank you.
"The most popular things in the group are animals and kids, but there's pretty much everything that makes people happy and/or boosts their creativity," Rahman explained.
"Our community is really wholesome. Just like the content in the group. Getting this big wouldn't have been possible without them. The members share such amazing and wholesome stories, we constantly make each other's day."
But Rahman also acknowledges and really appreciates all the hard work done by the group's admins and moderators. They put a lot of effort into maintaining the group the way it was intended to be.
YES. I am reminded of the woman who wrote Ann Landers and said "I am 30 and I want to go to medical school and become a doctor. But I am hesitant because do you know how old I'll be when I finish?" And Ann Landers wrote back and said "How old will you be if you don't go to medical school?"
I find it difficult to express how much this really touched me. What a wholesome moment and connection between the two.
It's very important these days to keep your spirits up. Many people in the world are not doing so well. We all have our problems. And they can get the best of us. That's why it's so awesome that groups like this one exist where you can go and look at adorable pets and heartwarming moments that restore your faith in the future.
When you see sweet moments like these, all you can do is smile. But remember that you can also the happiness with your friends. Even if it's just a link to a cute photo, spreading positivity around the world will not go unnoticed.
We often forget how important our emotions are, not only to us but to those around us. We come home grumpy, wake up with the thought that we hate our job, etc., the negativity can swallow us. However, if we enjoy our hobbies, spend time with our friends and family, spread some love and happiness, and try to see the brighter side of things, we realize there's so much more.
My wife is on City council in our little GA town, and has been pushing to develop meadows in the road right-of-ways - she's done most of the work. Here's one - IMG_1499-6...0cabc6.jpg
The ginger cat is like "Why isnt it moving?" and the black one is like "shhh, thats becuase he killed it first."
: )))) Red is saying "Larry, you can't be serious!". Black is saying "Larry, I think we need to give you a couple of tips!"
My late cat was a pretty good hunter and even killed rats almost his own size, yet one day he did exactly that and came back with a wet leaf from our neighbour's pond. My father was pretty happy it was just a leaf, as the neighbour is pretty proud about his fish and having to tell them your cat just ate one... not the best topic to start the day.
Awwww! I'm sure his brothers never caught one of those!
My cat can only catch leaves. She's always so proud of herself when she brings us a leaf. She puts down the leaf and then lies next to it.
His brothers are like, "Not exactly what we meant, bro, but good effort!"
What isn't showing are the other cats saying, "good Job! Well done!" out loud but their thought bubbles over their heads going, "WTF with Larry? OMG he's stunted. We have to talk to him later..."
I don't know whether it's just the camera angle but Larry looks BUFF!
Larry, you are such a thoughtful and sweet cat. Always remember, it's the thought that counts. A really cool " thank you for adopting me" gift.
I am so proud! Considering I taught my Ginger to only hunt rodents (Kitty! NO BIRDS!), I would be thrilled to receive a leaf!
that's too cute. I wish that was all my cats brought in... oh wait, princess foo-foo dirty tail brings in all kinds of leaves....
Had a cat that brought me a pretty round pebble every day for several months. Needed to change things up when she started catching - and trying to re-home - live crickets. No bueno in the living room.
The two originals are like “WT actual F Larry?” and Larry’s expression is just “What more do you people want?”
The two other cats: 'Bro, that's just a leaf.' The new cat: 'What is a leaf?'
Yes... Lets use happy doggos as a distraction from the cursed barney...
Alpahaca: the only animal on earth softer and more huggable than an alpaca
