Why do some people have such a issue with the word “gay”?! If you look it up in Webster dictionary it defines it as “ In or showing a joyous, merry mood; cheerfully lively, given to or abounding in social pleasures.” This is the formal definition of the word! Why do some people have a problem with happiness being described this way? And yes at the end of the definition it is said the informal description is for homosexuals but the original definition is for happiness.
