Recently Alabama enacted the country's most restrictive abortions law. The news sent shock waves not only through the USA but also the whole world. Many people called it a step backward for women's rights, as it criminalizes performing abortions at any point during pregnancy with a single exception for when 'abortion is necessary in order to prevent a serious health risk.' Doctors who perform abortions now can face up to 99 years in prison in the state.
While the governor Kay Ivey who signed the Alabama Human Life Protection Act says the Alabamian's believe that every life is precious & that every life is a sacred gift from God, many people disagree. Here is the list of responses clapping back at controversial abortion ban.

I know I will get trolled to f**k but I dont care, Americans love to criticize country's like Iran because of the links between religion and Government but as a non American to me it seems America is just as bad, you just have a different religion. No country should link the laws of the land with a religious ideology, everybody should have the right to their religion but also the right to NOT have a religion.

Georgia already posts "visit Georgia" ads on various sites which show their tourism is already suffering bc of their barbaric laws. Alabama will share the same fate because no one is going to want to visit there after this stupid law. I wouldn't even drive through there if I had to.

I have to get to Florida by car this summer and I’m just going to be sure not to spend any money while driving through Georgia. I’m fine using their infrastructure and contributing nothing to the maintenance of it though, lol.

I live in Alabama. This "govenor " is awful. They all are. All the states surrounding have lottery. Bama doesn't. The big wigs in surrounding states pay our big wigs to keep from happening. So millions are spent out of state. They dont care . Their pockets are fat. This money could go towards education. But no. A lottery bill was presented a month or so ago. It was stated that the money wouldn't go towards education if AL started a lottery. It would go into the "general fund" that way they can steal from it. The the gas tax increase to "fix" the roads. Theres so much construction in my city rarely leave the house. I'm sure they've figured out a way to steal from it as well. There's so many more subjects I could cover. Not enough time. Thank you for the rankings. I knew it was a bad state but i didn't know it was that bad in so many areas. We're not all bad and crazy. Oh and The first 48 is a regular visitor too . That speaks for itself.

If its number 5 in infant mortality, what difference does it make if the kid is born or not? Do they want them to suffer first?

Should be the other way around! and people say that America is "the greatest country on earth" no it's not, one of the greatest countries on earth is Sweden, do you know why? 1.They have the best benefits in the world; 2.Instead of burning the money you use for tax in useless stuff that benefit no one, Sweden actually uses it for the people, Healthcare, Education etc, you see the results of your tax money being put to good use EVERYDAY! 3.Healthcare is amazing! 4.Educational system is -Guess what?- Amazing!! 5.Transparent Politicians (Yeah, i'm looking at you, Portugal!!!) This being said, you guys need priorities! ASAP.

22 "men" desperately clinging to the last vestiges of the patriarchy by enforcing their little remaining power to control women....probably because they are exceptionally insecure....and have tiny winkies.

This sounds like something from a horrifyingly grim Dystopian novel, not actual real life, it's insane that this is actually true in Alabama

It's not and anyone who thinks it is doesn't understand the concept of who God is and what he does. He gave us free will. With that free will we can act on evil which is NOT what God wants. God wants us to choose to do good and raping a defenseless woman is not Godly at all. That rape baby is a product of sin and is likely doomed to be cursed.

No laws should be made from a religious perspective, absolutely none of them, religion and religious beliefs have absolutely no place in making and upholding laws

That's true. She is basing her decision on her beliefs and as this is a free country where we are all allowed to believe whatever we want, we should not be made to be ruled by the beliefs of only some.
