I am not religious and I don’t pray, but I think this string of comments saying he was forced to in order to get likes when you don’t know says more about you. Scientific study after scientific study has shown that petitionary prayer has the same outcome as random chance. Prayer is less than useless, it’s detrimental. Also Jews prayed during the holocaust for the holocaust to end and god did nothing. If you think prayer works, please pray to regrow the limbs of an amputee. Two hands actually working do more than a million folded in prayer.
This reminds me of just a few months ago my son and I were walking in downtown Charleston (SC) while his father was being evaluated for the national doner list for a kidney (he's in kidney failure but not dialysis yet thank God) anyway my son is 5 and we aren't devout christians but do believe in God but try to let our son find his own way with God, but we were walking by the cancer center when we passed a bench that was dedicated to cancer heros and we sat and he started asking me about the center and cancer and all so I explained as well as I could to him and in a moments breathe he says mom let's sit here and pray for them. So we did. It was a very touching moment bc even tho his father is facing a life or death situation he still had so much empathy for these ppl he didn't even know but at 5 could understand just how precious we all are...
