However, if you're actually doing it, that's precisely what you need to keep in mind. It's just a matter of time before you run into someone who can call out your BS. Like the name suggests, this online community is dedicated to those spicy moments when people were oblivious to who they were talking to, and has collected quite a lot of them since its inception in 2015. Reminds me of the time my mum was at a consulate dinner where the conversation turned to discussion of places of peace and solace. Unrelated but funny story. I traveled down from Northern California to Southern for a cousin's funeral. When asked about my relationship I informed my family that my boyfriend was a sommelier. Hours later a cousin finally asked what that meant. When I told her it was a wine expert she was silent for a moment, then said "Oh, we all thought it was someone from Somalia, and we all thought you were so progressive." I've never found them to be aggressive, but when I've encountered them up close I just leave them be -- unless they're daubing where I don't want mud. Then I gently shoe them off (with something other than my bare hands!) and scrape away their constructions. AND they're beautiful to see, engineered by a master craftsman, blue black iridescence, raven rainbows, like carborundum.

Please guys, go to school and don't take dubious internet information as granted. If you doubt a piece of information, please find several different legit scientific sources to confirm the facts.
Hmm perhaps, but wasps are seen as anoying creatures that sting you, but not all wasps are so it's better to not generalise them and determine them with their own specific qualities so not every wasp gets splattered.
But mud-dobbers are essentially harmless. They are not at all aggressive and if you let them go their way they'll let you go yours. It seems that's not a lesson that bigmacdaddy069 has learned from the mud-dobber.
My kids and students love to correct me in the same manner. At some point they'll get tired of my Venn diagrams.
Side note, this is coming from personal experience but, mud daubers I grew up around were oddly friendly, sometimes a little too friendly, but I've never been stung by one. Other wasps though scare me.
As children we loved mud daubers because you could watch them work but not be afraid .
I've never personally been stung by one, but I've heard all my life mud daubers can in fact sting; it's just hard to get them mad enough. I have broken open their nests though, not maliciously, but because they make a mess all over stuff, and I was cleaning up. They pack them full of spider corpses for their larva to eat. It's pretty wild.

A Dirt Dobber (as they are called here) are wasps, but they are not aggressive like their cousins. They are beneficial as they get rid of spiders..like black widows.

Ah people judging someone before getting all the facts. I've lived with this all my life. Despite having 20 years under my belt doing what I do, often people that don't know me can get pretty snarky. Not shaving for a week helped as I pass the 40 mark. Prior to that, it was pretty frustrating.
I look a quite a lot younger and at work i often get asked if im helping out my mom or dad. Im a chef for 10 years.

My literature teacher for 4th grade never called on me to answer questions. I was confused because I was the most advanced reader in that class. I talked to her after class one day, asking why she never called on me. She said “Sorry kiddo, but I think you would just confuse the other kids with how you pronounce words.” This was because I had a lisp back then and pronounced every word that had double o’s or just one o with an r.
I used to work at an airport, manager for the company that handled the restaurants. One Saturday my assistant manager and myself were inventory counting a Caribou Coffee and this sill looking skinny white guy walks up. Plaid short only the top button fastened, wife beater, baggy jeans, the ball cap with the razor straight bill and a lot of bling. I looked at said in a low voice ‘Look at this Vanilla Ice wanna be MFer’. Then a guy comes RUNNING across the terminal and is shaking homeboy’s hand and gushing over him. It WAS Vanilla Ice, who had played a show the night before. He was actually really cool too.
