But just like the internet, social media is a rusty double-edged sword laced with toxic goo—far from everything is as wholesome as the cat pictures you’ll find on Bored Panda.
Most people want to be loved, adored, and to be in the spotlight. In short, they want attention and adoration. Unfortunately, a sizeable chunk of humankind is prepared to do anything for that, morals, common sense, and decency be damned.
From acting plain idiotic to doing some downright immoral stuff that would make the local priest splash them with holy water, the people who are prepared to go to extreme lengths just for internet fame end up on the r/justforsocialmedia subreddit. Check out the best of the worst below, upvote the ones that impressed you with their awfulness the most, and share any similar stories in the comment section.
Bored Panda spoke about why some people tend to do pretty much anything for a splash of fame with redditor Blank-Cheque, one of the moderators at the 'Just For Social Media' subreddit. According to them, the internet is a contributing factor in hunting for attention. If they asked for it on the side, it’s really none of your business why they want it on the side. I’ve been a server, and I’ve never had Instagram, but you can’t be mad at someone for not wanting you to pour their sauce. Picture or not, people like to choose the amount of sauce and placement. People who don’t want condiments on the side are rare exceptions, most people want to pour their own way.

If they ordered the sauce on the side, then they have every right ask for a fresh order made the way they asked for, even if they are going to film themselves putting it on themselves. I'd order pancakes that way too so they aren't soggy with sauce after sitting under the heat lamps for 10 minutes before I get them.
I would not send my food back at a restaurant just so I can look good on Instagram.

Just leave it up to the customer how he/she wants to eat the ordered food. If the seller/supplier has any common sense it's l=eft to the customers to decide how they want their delivered food. With/without salt, with or without sause/toppings already added. If I want fries I'd like to decide myself how salty they will be. I also prefer to have the sauce delivered apart from the fries as I dont like them soggy. Basically the same applies to pancakes.

Eat a tide pod vs. developing art skills for years; throw a chair into traffic vs. learning how to compose music; take pictures of food vs. practicing serious cooking skills... Just my depressing 2 cents.

As an older person, I have to wonder what was wrong with their parents that they instilled no social graces or sense of propriety in them.
