Face swapping can have you doubled over in laughter with your family and friends while you’re editing your photos on an app. However, have you ever thought what would happen if you face swapped your own face with one of your tattoos? Well, people are posting bizarre, hilarious, and even terrifying photos of just that after having some fun with their face swap apps on their phones. Unsettling and spooky? Heck, yes!
Get ready for some weird tattoo face swap photos, collected by Bored Panda, that might have you giggling like you’re back in middle school. Remember to upvote your fave face-tattoo swaps and let us know in the comments which pictures you liked the best and least and why. Bored Panda reached out to Corrina Morse, one of the people who used a face swap app to switch her face with her tattoo, and spoke to her about privacy concerns while using face swap apps, as well as how to get great tattoos of faces. In Corrina's opinion, there aren't any apps that are truly safe in terms of privacy. "I think you have to be aware of that and make your mind up whether to use an app or not."
Corrina gave some great advice for people who are looking to get someone's face tattoed on their body. "Do your research! Check out the artists social media pages and websites, more than once, maybe even go back after a few weeks/months to be absolutely sure their work is up to the standards you would like. You will have to pay a bit more for a really good tattoo but it is so worth it!"
She also told us that she used the face swap app on part of a sleeve to celebrate being sober. "I found the picture online, saved it, and kept looking back at it to make sure I really liked it, then the tattoo artist tweaked it a bit and there she is! I love her, and she has a lot of fans at my place of work too."
Face swap apps used to be all the rage a few years back and now there are loads of them out there. All you need to do is Google ‘face swap app’ and you’ll be bombarded with choice after choice, after choice.
While face swap apps can be a lot of fun, be sure to have a detailed read through their privacy policies, as well as their terms and conditions. After all, you wouldn’t want your face to end up used by some third party company, would you?
Probably the most well-known (and most trustworthy) of the lot is Snapchat which has a face swap filter. It’s pretty easy to use. After you’ve installed Snapchat on your phone, make sure that the app is in selfie mode.
Then tap and hold on your face until you see a white mesh face map appear which activates the lenses. Then swipe through the lenses until you find the face swap effect.
That’s when you pose with your tattoo (or find another person or animal to swap faces with) and voilà—you have something hilariously terrifying to show your pals.
