They are fairly big, maybe inch-inch and half or so, and freaked me out the first time I saw one. I think they are the only insect which genuinely I would not touch with my bare hands...they're just....eww...I think the fact I heard (probably an urban myth) that they would be the only survivors after nuclear war just about did it for me.

Some office jobs that are project based are feast or famine in terms of work load. They are salary employees who are expected to get the work done regardless of hours. Plus 'free hours' are somewhat relative because all the goofing off at any hour will readily catch up to them to meet deadlines.

I hope this gets a bunch of criticisms. It got me disappointed. I understand if your job is somehow mechanical and you depend on who comes through the door you could get bored. That's happened to me when I was young but some people took more than a morning to do what they did. And what about sweeping the office ? Cleaning the fridge ? Planning next week's tasks ? Studying to improve in what you do ? I just think many of these talented people are in a pre-depression stage. I feel ashamed. Sorry. You don't deserve to get paid.
Shut up, TC, if people are not creative from time to time, they're gonna become super dump at some point. They obviously didn't have anything to do at the time and if they did have, they can always plan their day in such way that they finish what they are required to do on time. Sometimes you simply don't have the required work inspiration. At this point you can sit, take a creativity break and then continue working with higher spirits and desire.
