So you could kill your nail technician... Because of deciding not to quarantine properly and lying to her face. For people who are immune compromised, it's not always just having to quarantine or being sick for a few weeks - it can be so much rougher on the body and further complicate existing health problems. And the solution is not for immune compromised people to self-isolate for two years, although some people want to with how little trust can be placed in the people around them. To afford food, rent, medication - you gotta take your chances and work.
I remember this; was very early on before there were any viable treatments, let alone vaccines. This person should have been prosecuted.

I've been inside for nearly two years and just finally starting to do a few things this month and I never once thought that someone else's life was worth taking a break from it (in fact, that's kinda the point of it!)
Two days?! I was stuck 2 weeks at home for Omicron. I was one of the lucky coworkers. I got a coworker who was put into a coma for 3 months.
I did the two weeks as well. I'm a two time cancer survivor with Crohn's, so I worry. Wear a good mask when I'm forced to go out, have washed my hands til the skin is coming off, and have all the shots. And I still worry.

I'll just chime in by adding that she was SO "upset" after quarantining for 2 days.. and she knows how much that sucked for her.. and so she knowingly went out and created a situation where every single person she came into contact with she knowingly forced to some mixture of quarantine, become really ill, and possibly flood the hospital system. This really should be criminal. Doing the wrong thing when it's highly likely to come at the cost of others' lives (especially when 2 weeks of unpaid labor + her coworkers for her salon as well..) man.. I'm not even asking for much. She thought 2 weeks was bad enough to do this, so my vote is 6 weeks and community service. *Shrugs*
