Comedian Destroys White Woman Who Called Cops On Black Folks Having A BBQ With 25 Hilarious Memes
Remember the 'racist' lady that grabbed everyone's attention in Oakland, California over a police call? The internet nicknamed her "BBQ Becky" and photoshopped her into black history moments, even Saturday Night Live did a skit about her. This time, comedian Tim Northern from Louisville, Kentucky took her meme to new heights by making a few calls himself.
When Northern first saw the video, his initial reaction was a tinge of anger. "But this goes on all time," he told Bored Panda. "So I'm almost inured to it." The man claimed he had similar experiences many times, too.
"'Casual racism' is a bigger problem than overt racism," Tim continued. "It's not as in your face, [so] it keeps people in their little bubble of denial."
He was casually sitting in Starbucks when he decided to bring the most popular "BBQ Becky" memes to life. "I just decided to do mundane things to parody the memes that were already out there." Spending a couple of hours going around Louisville, Tim got pictures taken of him calling the cops over some horrible, horrible things the white folks were up to!

I think Some Body needs a nap, alcohol, or some pizza. Or maybe a hug because it's ok, bruh. shh shh, it's alright. Just try to enjoy the memes.
I'm white as the driven snow. And I think that it's way past time that white arseholes like the barbecue woman were themselves barbecued to a crisp by the anger of the rest of society, at their cavalier racism and privileged racial profiling.
They betta stop it before the raisins end up in Becky's potato salad!
They probably putting dem raisins in the potato salad. Call the law!
OMG, if my white a*s didn't just have to buy some raisins last week for a recipe! I swear I ain't Becky! Let's BBQ together! Just don't report my raisins
You should always raise your own raisins, it's right there in the name.
Suckers!!! Quality autos are built to function efficiently on 87 octane Regular gas.
Oh boy. I come to Bored Panda for fun. But, a post like this is going to result in the comment section becoming a war zone.
I totally disagree with the woman who made the call; it was unnecessary, and pretty disgraceful really. That being said, I hardly think the answer to racism is more racism; in jest or not. All it's going to do is stir a pot that absolutely needs no stirring right now.
Jesus f**k.....it's called humor. People have been using humor to deal with difficult situations forever.
Load More Replies...Too bad race had nothing to do with her alerting the authorities. But the BS "all white folks are racist" narrative is so much more fun.
Ok, yeah, at no point did the original targets of her barbecue alarm OR the comedian EVER state or imply that all white people are racist!!! The comedian is mocking the ignorance of bigotry. If you're not a racist bigot, then he's not mocking you.
Load More Replies...I've had friends from all backgrounds since I was a child. I've traveled to Europe and Asia. In college I participated in groups for Jewish, Muslim and Christian students. I've studied Arabic. I married an African man. I consider myself to be pretty well rounded and open minded. Yet one of my dear African American friends told me "You're the whitest person I know". She said it with love, and it was in response to some of my habits that are very much a part of my European American upbringing. (Studying and enjoying speaking German, studying Welsh language and history, eating finger foods w a fork, always using proper English, taking notes at every meeting or lecture, answering the phone like a secretary). My family is not wealthy, but we are very stiff and proper, where other white folks would be more laid back.
Came home found bloodly mess outside by garden spigot, called LAPD reg #, their response "is there a body? If not doing nuttin!"
If OJ only did what he did in my neighborhood...but then again he did beat the case
Load More Replies...This is just stupid. While I think we can all agree, that woman was over the line in calling the cops for people BBQing where they weren't suppose to, why do we assume it was a race thing? An open fire in a place not designated for it could be a fire hazard. Not that I am sticking up for her. I just think sometimes people can be so quick to use the race card. Maybe that woman was just an a*****e not a racist.
I really don't understand why everyone wants to give this horrible lady so much publicity. Everywhere you look there are memes about her & what a racist she is. All they're doing is promoting her.
I'm what some might call hitler's ideal (6'2, blonde, blue eyes) and while I didn't find this particularly funny I have to heartily agree with the message. I hear/read stories of black people being pulled over for literally no reason, searched, their car searched, again for no reason but supposedly in the hope of finding drugs or weapons, and it's ridiculous. I live in South Africa, where crime is incredibly high, and yes, it's statistically mostly black people but you know why? 1. There area a LOT more black people here than whites. 1% of 1000 is a lot less than 1% of 1000 000. 2. Apartheid left so many blacks in devastating poverty. They struggle to this day to claw their way to a decent life and some eventually decide there is only one way. They may have a child to feed or an elder to care for, we don't know. I'm hitler's ideal and when I hit rock bottom, I strongly considered turning to crime to get by because I figured jail would be better than the life millions live to this day.
Dang, I just made a comment on them having good content on another post. Greatness only lasts for a little bit of time
"They grillin' in a non-designated area." How about that? The family was told they were in the wrong area. That park has specific designated areas for grilling. The family decided they would blow off the actual park rules. And, remember, this is California, where people are very happy to call in the government, get super Offended by everything, are beyond Enviroweenie, and expect everyone to comply. And, perhaps the grilling family could have just followed the darned rules.
Okay, why call the POLICE for someone breaking a minor rule in a park? Police are here to protect us. This woman wasted hours of our (tax payer's) money for this bullsh*t. That is why it is wrong. Calling the police for non-emergencies is not following the rules: http://www.safebee.com/home/when-you-should-and-shouldnt-call-911
Load More Replies...OK, look. Does the "white people do xzy" annoy me sometimes? Yes. Does it hurt my feelings sometimes? Yes. Do I whine about it? No. I suck it up. You know why? Because me feeling butthurt is NOTHING in comparison to the damage that generalizations about people of color, Muslims, immigrants, etc do on the daily. Until we are getting shot by law enforcement, verbally and physically harassed, profiled, followed by store security for no good reason, and getting higher prison sentences due to generalizations I'ma just shut the f**k up and take my little feelings of alienation and use it to recognize my privilege. Try it.
This is s**t! I got to no 9 and decided to just switch everything off and just sit in silence and contemplate my life!
It really seems that black people think that overreactions come from nothing more than the pigment in their skin. Nothing comes from nothing. Maybe there is a reason for other people [not all white BTW] that they are more alert around black people congregating. Should it be like that? No, not at all. Everybody should be free to do peaceful stuff without being hassled. However it is time to take some of the responsibility too. Why is it that once peaceful neighbourhoods go down the drain when a lot of black people move in? I guess it is mostly young black guys that misbehave [more so than any other group]. Could it be because they are brought up with entitlement but no integrity? I blame the parents or the culture, so no racism here. It's almost as if not 65 black kids got stabbed in London by other black kids since January and yet nobody mentions the elephant in the room. I also know that the police is called every time the EDF [English Defense League] meet for a beer. Same reason.
Racism and its roots come from a complex social contructions that has impacted multiple generations, and oversimplifying the topic I find doesn't help to challenge the problem it gives us. I am a black man and I know that reaction comes from more than skin pigment. I'd encourage you to suspend your belief that black people are cause neighborhoods go down the drain and explore the causes yourself and discover you own truth rather than prejudice base memes. Consider maybe there is a reason black people (not all) are quick to label others racist.
