Raising kids is hard, there is no question about it. It's easy to get stressed and frustrated - which can lead to some toxic parenting styles. Here are some toxic parenting behaviors to avoid. Instead of taking at your kids talk with them. Barbara Greenberg, PhD, a clinical psychologist known for her national television appearances focusing on the mental health of adolescents and teens, told Reader's Digest: “Toxic parents are known for not listening to their kids, but instead, talking over them or at them,” and said they should, "make a concerted effort to remain silent and listen, listen, and listen some more. If kids feel listened to they will talk more and confide more.

They DO NOT raising monster, they are a pair of venomous living things that contaminated pure kids with their poisonous attitudes. Teach your kids wisdoms and they will become wise men in the future, teach your kids bad things and they will do bad things in the future.

Why the hell did the parents let the kid do that!? Is this post from the employee of the store and blaming on a parent of a kid or did this really happen. I, as a parent, can't even imagine a parent letting a kid do this!

Now I have a 3 year old that would totally do this. No matter how I’ve raised her, she’s destructive BUT she would have managed to get one toy down and start making a mess before I stepped in, got her to help clean up and if she didn’t cooperate then we’d be leaving the store. She’s an extremely difficult child to manage in public but no way I’d let her carry on like that even on my worst days when I can’t take anymore and it would be so easy to turn a blind eye.

I'm going to give the family a pass on this one. There isn't any evidence that the kids pictured caused this. The girl holding up one toy doesn't mean she destroyed the whole aisle. The picture is clearly at a second hand store where the boxes would've been open before. It wouldn't surprise me if some kids started to play, left it, more kids started to play, left it, and then by the end of the day it looked like this.

First off, this is a 2nd hand store.... I have walked in to this kind of thing a couple times. I DO NOT think these 2 kids did all that, no way. Some stores get soo busy and have a rush that they dont get a chance to clean up toy aisles. I agree that parents should not a)low their kids to behave like cavemen. But they should go thru and help the kids clean up whatever they did get into.

To anyone who questins if this is real and possibly the work of one kid- it's 100% a thing and one kid can do SO MICH DAMAGE. Especially if the parents wanted to look at stuff on their own and told the kid to just play in that aisle so they didn't have to deal with them. They go to look at stuff, the kid looks through everything in the aisle and everything ends up discarded, opened and thrown on the floor. That wouldn't take that long if they didn't find anything they liked.

This is a disaster on biblical proportions, BUT: As a parent of a 18 month old I can testify that sometimes you take your kid to a Target or Walmart toy department just so they can play and be quiet for a while, and also to watch their playing habits, tracing patterns (what toys they play with, what not) etc. And at the end of the night pretty much any department or dollar store toy section is going to look like that ..... Shame but true, I have seen parents run out frustrated and child screaming and just knocking down things from shelves, mine did the same, guilty as charged, I tried to clean up but its hard to find time and patience to do it right, so you just leave it wherever you can toss it to, and then is has a domino effect -other parents see the mess left behind by previous ones and don `t care that much anymore - "Its a mess anyway, who cares", and store employees dont waste time cleaning up, because they know in an hour it will look just the same.

Try to stay positive! Negative thoughts can be more powerful than you think and affect your interactions with your kids. Internationally recognized child psychology expert, Jeffrey Bernstein, PhD, explained to RD: “No kid is perfect, but parents often don’t realize just how much their own thoughts, rather than their children’s behavior, contribute to their own emotions.”

It's hard to keep a cool head when you have a million things to do, the dog got out, you have to drop people off at activities and still have work. Dr. Bernstein believes that it is worth it to learn how to manage these parenthood frustrations as the outcome can have a positive effect on your child's behavior. “When you learn to identify and manage your own parenting frustrations, you’ll be amazed at how your child’s challenging behaviors can quickly improve.”

Your child is not their behavior. We all have bad days, imagine if you snapped at your child and from every day onward your kid thought of you only as "angry" mom or dad. The same goes for your kids. Dr. Bernstein explained: “The lack of time for parents to catch their breath and reflect, can lead them sometimes to see their children in global ways. As a result, toxic labels such as: lazy, problematic, selfish, and inconsiderate can result in parents influencing their children to be locked into a negative identity." Focus on solutions, not labels.

Every kid is unique, even within the same family, and each one has something to bring to the table. Maybe you find it easier to get along with one sibling over the other or have more in common, but comparing kids against each other is toxic - especially if you think it will result in a change of behavior. Dr. Greenberg says, “Instead, you should celebrate each child’s individuality; comparisons damage self-esteem and do not serve as motivation.”

No, she didn't . She problably was too absorbed by her phone to even have even noticed it if the kid would have demolished the entire stand.

Ask her to leave that place so you can look at your child. If she goes ape, video it and tell her that your facebookfriends need a good laugh.

Sorry, but this is bad management failing to tell staff that they are allowed to confront parents and kids on unwanted behaviour. These things happen because for staff it's a "Not worth risking my job for"-issue.

Ok, that's when you call a staffmember. But sadly, it will show that nobody really cares: The staffmember knows that confronting the parents could cost him his job, The parents would trhow a rage when confronted and are comped with entire new furniture for their home. Sad but true.

Step on the kid's hands a few times. Problem solved. ( Saw it happen in a Dutch restaurant. Waiter had asked parent to watch their child. They didn't . He did and deliberately stepped on the child's hand. Crying, yelling, tantrum. Manager came, parents had to pay their bill and were escorted out.)

There is NO way to justify this one. I don't care if your car windows are glued shut and it's 90 degrees out. You sit in there with your kid's s****y diaper until you find a garbage can. There's probably one not 5 feet from the scope of this pic.
