In the past few years, drawing scenes from conversations I overhear has become my way of combining my love of satirical cartoons and creating an illustrated time capsule of this strange time we live in. Having lived in Los Angeles for the past few years, I've witnessed trends come and go. Hipster mustaches were replaced with man buns, yoga studios started to invite goats to their classes, and online dating became more hellish than ever.

I recently collected all of the illustrations into a book titled #ThingsThatIHear available here (enter promo code "PANDA" for a limited time special discount)

It was suggested that I add a picture to my profile with a pet, I didn't have one so I found a picture of me on a trip with a monkey. My fiancee picked me to talk to because I had a pic of a monkey on my shoulder. She wanted to know if I was afraid that it would rip my face off.

I have no shame when it comes to deep IG stalking. If you let me follow your IG, you can bet I'm going back to the paleolithic.

So if a vegan doesn't mention he/she is vegan and better than you in the first 10min of talking to them are they still vegan?

If someone says they are vegan and are snotty about it you should immediately tell them how sorry you are for them.

I've never met a vegan who did that. I have however met a lot of meat eaters who felt the need to mention their opinions about veganism every few seconds.

I dont understand why people hate it if others choose to eat only plant based. Its like the word vegan sets of an alarm, just like the word millennial or boomer (or black, or foreign, or...). Instant hate. People think they are better than others for all sorts of reasons, no need to hate on a whole group just cause they make a different choice.

exactly. and it's not like veganism is a bad thing, it's literally the opposite of harming animals lol

I get the point of being vegan but I firmly believe that just one person choosing not to eat meat because "animals are tortured to get the whatever" is not valid at all and just *one* person not eating animal products will not even make a dent in the sales of animal products. Plus if you check and do your research on what product you're buying you can see if it is a sustainable source of food. That probably made no sense but it made sense to me but ya know... I totally understand vegans no discredit to them

Up voted you, because I totally understand your point:) Even some "vegan" choices can harm animals, by taking away their habitat, foods, etc. The Rain Forests are just one example. Not to mention the harm that some forms of agriculture can cause to the local human population

You make a comment just to call someone names? Thats rude. It is okay to disagree with someone, but calling them an idiot just cause they see things different says quite a lot about you imo.

of course vegans are better. they dont torture and murder animals for no reason. they are intelligent enough to realize that you can get all your needed food without murdering animals. if you downvote this you're just mad
