Viral Video Captures A Group Of Outdoor Cats Stepping Inside A House For The First Time In Their Lives

In difficult times like these, when it almost seems like the whole world is hanging by a thread, more often than before, we must put conscious effort into finding ourselves some time to sit back, relax, and forget about our problems for just a second. And what can be more relaxing and soul-healing than simply looking at adorable fluffy cats doing their cat things for 12 minutes straight, right?

Walter Santi is a YouTube channel where a man posts various videos showing the bits and bobs from the daily life of his doggy and his 2 indoor and 9 outdoor cats. A few months ago, the man decided to prepare a separate room for his outdoor cats where they could hang out and chill whenever they’d like to, and then to film their very first moments stepping inside the house for the first time ever.

The owner of the Walter Santi channel takes care of 9 stray cats—D’Artagnan, The Rolling Cat, The Purring Cat, D’Artagnan’s girlfriend, Porthos, Zoom, Junior, The Mom Cat and The Big Head—who have been living in his garden for a few years now and have never been invited inside the house. Until now.

The man came up with the idea to prepare a special separate room for his outdoor cats where they could come whenever they’d like to while still living outdoors. He separated the basement from the rest of the house by building a wall which resulted in a large separate room.

After that, the man thoughtfully prepared the space for the cats by building several adorable little cat houses, putting out individual food bowls, a cat tower, and hanging up a few photos capturing some of the sweetest moments from other videos on the channel. And after all the preparation was done, it was finally time for the cats to step inside the house for the very first time in their lives.

When the man opened the door so the cats could get in, most of them seemed quite curious about the new space. A few of them walked straight in and began inspecting the room while others looked at it pretty suspiciously and needed more time to finally be able to step inside.

Wonderful! What a lovely guy! What lovely cats! But watcha need, ya see, is a nice sofa in there, so they can wreck it with their claws, and leave hair all over it, some plants to knock over onto the carpet, or to try to eat, and then throw up all over the carpet ... and a carpet. Likely many of these will make it into the house proper, soon enough. They don't seem all that feral anymore.

I follow this channel for quite a while now! This guy loves cats and has a great sense of humour. I can recommend the soap series he created, Cats in love! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLu0DVmxFb1-b6ADGtkmVJXre9xZxYL2wo

i love Walter Santi's channel too. I imagine the people who don't like him are extremely jealous they're unable to launch a successful channel like he has.

Meanwhile i have build a tree/seagull watching device for my black panther and i had to add painting tins to the base because Isaac Newtons ghost was not amused by my creativity. Thankfully my cat was always pleased by my gifts. 20171113_2...d3afb4.jpg 20171113_210604-5fd78e9d3afb4.jpg

The space is lovely. I especially like the cathouses and the bowls. I don't see bowls for water, though. These kitties are quite lucky.

I think it’s wrong to let cats outside. They don’t need to be outside, it’s too dangerous. Cats domesticated themselves so they’re adaptable to indoor life. They live an average of 4 years outside but up to 20 indoors. No other animals to fight off, cars to avoid being hit by or the psychotic animal abusers there are lurking for cats to abuse (man pulls cat apart while alice in east hampton CT - the story will make you vomit )

The garden is enclosed. They are outside… but not. They can’t go anywhere past the gates and the netting above the walls and gates.
