Or when you reveal that you haven't done something that the majority of people consider to be the most ordinary things? Well, prepare to make that face yourself as we dive deep into the list of the most basic things some people have never tried in their lifetime, and some are even secretly proud of it. From never biting on a pear to never learning how to ride a bicycle, some people are really doing the opposite of living life on the edge. This Bored Panda challenge invites you to write down the things you haven't tried and to add them to our post!

Never broken a bone
So far, I have never died!
Never eaten a McDonald’s. I’m 52.
Lucky. I have three little brothers who are OBSESSED with McDonald's. It's garbage.
Okay, but to be fair, anything in excess is bad for you... I go to McDonalds on occasion and its fine, so I definitely wouldn't call it garbage. It isn't the healthiest, but every once and a while does no harm.

Unfortunately I was hooked on that garbage in the 80ties & early 90ties. Got really fat & unhealthy with NO energy whatsoever & also had fits of depression because of that sh*t. Best idea ever to never EVER eat that c**p anymore :-)
I didn't eat in a McDonald's until I was 12. Thankfully, my mom didn't want me eating any junk food as a young child.

I'm in my 40's and only had MD's a couple of times. I don't like fast food very much, it often makes me ill afterwards.

neither have my girls. i told them that they will get really sick if they do. now every time we pass by one they go "Eeewwww, Mcdonalds..Gross!!"...so proud of them :-)

You say you've never eaten a McDonald's. Ahhhh, that's a good thing, right. From what I hear, the Scottish are a very tough and resilient people, I would think that unless slow cooked in a crock for hours, they would be tough to chew..
I have never eaten a raw tomato. I have had spaghetti sauce but never bitten whole tomato nor a mushroom.
Don't hate me, but I don't see all the magic powers people speaks about a pizza. Not really into fast food in generally.

I wonder why, like was it a personal decision or just didn’t live near one? I haven’t been to one for anything more than a drink in years. I miss those fries so much though.
I have never learned how to ride a bike.
When people say "this will be as easy as riding a bike" my brain always immediately thinks "yikes".
I have never lost my keys. I still use the same keychain that I got at 12 (I'm just changing the keys or adding new ones)

Was born without a sense of smell. Closest I come is tasting something in the air.

Never changed a car tyre. Not exactly proud, it just hasn't come up.
Not a difficult task. Interestingly, I changed three tires in my life, despite never owning a car. Turns out there are a lot of people out there that have cars but don't know how to do it and are completely helpless as a result. I only knew how because I had watched my grandpa do it as a kid once.
I've never been stung by a bee. I'm 45.

I graduated film school without seeing Citizen Kane. Still haven't.

Not necessarily. Maybe you haven't watched a ton of trash movies or tv shows. It's sad if you haven't traveled, but maybe you don't have money or maybe you're just super comfortable at home.

I've never been to an ikea or a Costco, never seen titanic or the notebook, and have never murdered anyone. However, on the opposite side of things I've done a few things some people have never done, like get bitten by an owl, pet a tiger and flown an airplane.
Pet a tiger is something you shouldn't be proud of. They just let you do it if they are babies (but shouldn't be exploited even then) or of they are drugged

I have never been drunk. I tried some alcohol, but I just can't get over the feeling of "this is not right" when drinking it. Not morally, more like a physiological reaction to something I shouldn't eat. Alcohol just tastes slightly "toxic", if that makes sense. I even like small amounts (like pralines), but more than that and my body goes into "NOPE STOP IT" mode. I'm 34 and it actually impacts my social life a little bit, because drinking is the "default" and you always have to explain when you don't.
I've never seen any of the Marvel movies and I don't ever plan to.

32 and still have most of my milk teeth; no cavities, no fillings, but I have had shards of baby tooth removed because it was poking at nerves under one of my few adult teeth.
This is a massive no one cares post with extra comments of people saying more dumb s**t.
I never had a boyfriend and credit cards. Maybe that's why I have never lost my money. LOL.... I've never watched Game of Thrones, Frozen, Star Wars and Walking Dead and many other film/series that many are crazy about. I've never been to a zoo, either. Most of all, this may sound harsh but I have never told my parents I love them. I just show it but never say it.
I have never ever changed my phone number. I got it when I was 5th grade and I'm still using it 15 years later.
Never been to Olive Garden. Or Cheddars. Or went out of country. Or lived in another state. Or gone to therapy (goodness I wish I did.) To be honest, most of what I haven’t done, I’m kind of sad.

I've never watched a single episode of "reality tv" - unless you count cooking shows. Never watched any of the 50 Shades movies... tried to read the first "book" but was so disgusted by the horrific writing that I had to stop. Sadly, I've also never danced with the devil in the pale moonlight.
Never consumed any alcohol or smoked a cigarette (...40 year old Aussie)
I have never fallen in love or lusted for someone. I think that's about the most universal thing that I don't have.
