Josh Sundquist heard his cancer diagnosis when he was only nine years old. The doctors said that Josh was flipping a coin for his life – the boy’s survival chance was about 50%. He lost his left leg despite chemotherapy, but by thirteen, he was 100% cancer-free. By sixteen, he was ski-racing, and Sundquist even went on to represent the U.S. in the 2006 Paralympics in Torino, Italy. Now, Sundquist is a motivational speaker who’s become famous on social media for his clever and inventive, amputation-incorporating creative Halloween costumes.

“I’ve always dealt with the social discomfort of being an amputee by having a sense of humor,” Sundquist said. “But now I’m more comfortable with who I am and what I look like, and I guess with these Halloween costume ideas, you could even say that I celebrate what makes me different. Which may be either weird or refreshing, depending on your perspective.” Year after year, he outdoes himself with funny costumes, and 2017 is no different. From a one-legged lamp to a hopping iHOP sign, we’ve gathered the best Halloween costumes that Sundquist have ever conjured up. Scroll down to check out what this cool guy came up with this time!
