This Guy Only Has Vision In One Eye, So He Bought A One-Eyed-Dog That No One Else Wanted
Kendra Trent, 27, has recently shared an adorable photo of her brother Jordan Trent, 32, who lives in Georgetown, Texas, holding a tiny one-eyed Australian Shepherd that no one else wanted.
“We found the puppy at market we were at,” told Jordan Bored Panda. “We had no plans of getting a dog that day but there was a man there selling puppies. Shiner [the dog] was the last of his litter. No one wanted him and when my family saw him we knew we had to bring him home.”
“Sometimes he’ll run into things and you can tell he has some problem with his depth persecution, as do I. He’s playful, loves to be held, has the cutest little bark and gets along great with the whole family.”

Jordan Trent lost vision in his left eye doing yard work when he was 15 years old
When Jordan’s kids saw the dog in the market, they said: “He’s blind in one eye like you, Daddy. We have to get him!”
“No one wanted him, which was perfect,” said Jordan
They got him and named Shiner Solo
Just look at his happy face…
“All animals need love no matter what they look like, their physical deformities, or how many eyes they have”
Thank you, Jordan Trent, for talking to Bored Panda!

Great to read this! Same 'problem' here. I also have no vision through one eye and I bought a parrot years ago with a blind eye as well. It looked different but she was amazing and funny. She died last year. RIP Jacko :'(
The man and his dog are not deformed or disabled. They are perfect as they are.
thank you for helping an unwanted animal to get loved! get happy with him, he will give so much love back!!!!
The world needs more wonderful souls. Bless their hearts. Thank you for adopting that little puppy.
I adopted my Kodo from the shelter. He has one eye that is smaller, and is blind in that eye. He was there a while. He also has a problem with his back legs, and he is an older dog (9 years). He is the happiest dog I have ever seen. 20181022_1...04e1d2.jpg
This is very cool :o) I must ask, though, how does one lose vision in one eye while doing yard work? Not being mean, just curious
My sister has a little one-eyed Dachshound. I love the little thing to bits.
I'm sure this pup will bring you and your family years of wonderful fun and everlasting memories.
I adopted a one-eyed kitten. She's three now, and rules the house with an iron paw! ;)
That Dog is so Cute !! I would be MORE encouraged to buy him because of his eye, and I would name him "Big Boss" via Metal Gear hehe.
I was walking in Soho, NYC a few years ago with my 3 kids. They stopped a pretty lady to stroke her little dog who had stunning bi-color eyes. As I turned and smiled to thank her for the intrusion I noticed it was Iman, David Bowie's wife. Of course David also had stunning bi-color eyes. God Bless to you and your family!
