After 75 Years Of Marriage, This Couple Died In Each Others’ Arms Hours Apart
Alexander and Jeanette Toczko, an elderly couple in California that had been married for 75 years, recently passed away in each others’ arms within less than a day of each other, professing their love for each other until the very end. Their last loving embrace was documented by their bereaved daughter Aimee Toczko-Cushman.
Alexander (95) and Jeanette (95) ‘dated’ since they were 8 and married in 1940. Several weeks ago, Alexander suffered a broken hip and became bedridden. Jeanette also fell ill, so a local hospice provided them with care beds where they could lie in each others’ arms.

Share on Facebook...and people today think that if their marriage lasts 10 years that they've done a good job. We should all wish for a love like this.
My husband and I had gotten wide-eyed stares when we had only reached our 5th anniversary!! And people would tell us what a "long time" that was! Seriously?? That's only just starting out! People need to enter into marriage realizing it's a covenant, and not bail out for selfish reasons at the very first sign of trouble.
Load More Replies...You said it. I almost cried at this, it just proves that true love isn't just in films and fairy tales
Load More Replies...Anonimous Cookie ... The story proves that kind of love & devotion does exist in real life
Load More Replies...I resisted all day not to look at this post because I knew it would make emotional... but I did and my heart is sad but happy, hopeless but hopeful. thanks for that!
As I approach my 20 year anniversary (26 years together total) I am heart warmed by this story. I can only hope we can do the same! Great story.
I don't think you'll hear of many more stories like this. Everyone wants the easy way out in everything. No one wants to work or build something.
If only we could all have a full and loving 90 plus years with the same heartbeat. Namaste'
No words , but love to the family as they mourn the loss of their incredible mother and father. Started this life in love and left as they wished I wish this would happen more often, praise to hospice for their work and the family for understanding their parents wishes and not being afraid
I kinda feel like I shouldn't be privy to the first photo... like it's too private or something. It's a beautiful love story, but you don't need to show me their private death embrace. If you say it happened, I'll believe you. But that's just me really.
This makes me teary-eyed! Oh, for a love like that! I didn't choose as wisely in the beginning, so I'll never get this chance to have so many years in them...Praying that I will have a lot of life in the years that I have left, though! (Such sweet photos, but I could've done without the one of them both deceased, though!).
So wonderful to see how beautiful true everlasting love can be. Thank you for sharing their amazing journey, I wish them eternal bliss in the paradise of each other's arms. Rest in peace. God Bless x
Amazing to see how beautiful true enduring love really is. Thank you for sharing their incredible journey through life. God Bless x
Very few people ever experience this kind of love. ( Envy and delight at reading this story)
Please post a WARNING before showing images of dead people. Romantic or not, it's distressing to some.
Hopefully they got the permission of the family first.
