I would imagine the "home doors" help create a more welcome environment instead of a "sterile door". I cannot even fathom the idea of loosing my memory, congratulations to the folks at True Doors for coming up with such an award winning idea!
I feel bad for the guy who had graffiti on his door. My grandmother has Alzheimer's, and her memory is the most clear when its morning, and we are playing a game of cards. She also recognizes smells (they trigger more memory recall) than that of her other senses. I love that these people are trying to help, its a terrible disease.
He seems pretty happy with it.
I think the graffiti were part of the design, and that the man accepted it either as a joke, or it made him feel younger, or something. I think he was the unfortunate one ti get the wrong random design. His smile reveals that.
That man, would be a woman btw! And she seems quite happy about it :) I think it's a lovely idea
