After trying men's shaving products there's just no going back, my s****y girly pink shaver was like a damn torture device that I thought I must endure. I have to say that if your talking about goop-in-a-can, that's a 'hell no'. The best shaving cream is the stuff you have to whip up with water and a brush. Not sure I've ever seen the 'traditional' soaps and creams marketed to women... but Martin D'Candre (french, you have to import it from their website) is hands down the best I've used. It's also less expensive than barbasol or gillete's gel-goop per shave. (I still have my first jar, it's been going for more than a year.)

Everyone used to use the same razors. I'd recommend for everyone shaving to use a safety razor rather than a cartridge razor. They last longer and in my experience, work better.
The razor companies bet on this and got rewarded: Women's razors cost up to 5x more for the same in pink. The EU tried about 2y ago to outlaw this tax on women --- with the manufacturers admitting they're identical blades. It's in this context that this guy clearly knows better than the manufacturer, and says "but they're not"... [Actually, it's the hair not the skin that's different --- after the first shave that's gone until it grows back next day.]

In my preteen and teen years I used to hold some very misogynistic views similar to these. I'm glad that with a lot of discussion, education, and trying to learn from my mistakes that I have grown out of it. The incel community scares me. Men need to try to look at things from womens' perspectives. Studying history and going to higher education helps. We all need more empathy.
