Illustrator Shows Unapologetic Women Being Themselves That Society Doesn’t Want To See
There is something incredibly beautiful about people being unapologetically themselves. Cécile Dormeau keeps on proving that by drawing women of all kinds, showing their true colors and loving it.
Cécile Dormeau a French artist living in Paris and before starting her illustrator career, she worked as a graphic designer in design agencies in Hamburg and Berlin, and as a junior art director in an ad agency in Frankfurt.
Now she reveals the true beauty of women, showing them as they are - colorful, interesting, bold and real.

No because she doesn't care how she looks. That's the point of this article!
Load More Replies...I am pregnant and just starting to show. Can't wait to mess with peoples' heads when they ask me how far along I am or when the baby's due! "Baby? What baby?" :)
I love unapologetic evil!! Bwahahaha!! Have fun with your game!
Load More Replies...I once smiled and said “awwww!” when I saw a cousin’s “pregnant belly”. Then I looked up at her horrified face. I learned my lesson the hard way. Never again!
Unless a woman is carrying a child, I say nada about an apparent pregnancy.
I wasn’t even fat at the time and I got that question so often...ugh
people approached my mom reaching out to touch her stomach when she was pregnant and then my mom would always say "I'm having triplets" and those weirdos would shrivel away in disgust
She has blue boob hairs! I've heard of dying your hair awesome colors but dying the boob hair! :P
I had beautifully clear skin when I was younger. Now I'm in my thirties and suddenly I get pimples on my chin. WTF?????
the cage may be open but the beast's asleep... oh wait, this might not work with women...
All I can think about is Robin Williams’ joke. “Fake tits are like nazis, the don’t laugh, and they don’t move.
I hate this! Young generation turning into dogs and cats. Or may be I am too old.
Yup! And I absolutely have to show my husband my face every single time I use those!
This.. this shirt right there is THE shirt to wear to a bar when you don't want any dudes hitting on you... At all... Ever... Maybe have Blue Waffles printed on the back for extra precaution 😀 (don't Google blue waffles, not breakfast food)
Yeah, I'm looking for down votes, but, good grief, stop trying to position being overweight as a good thing. This whole "body positive", "fat shaming" idiocy is giving young people the idea that it's OK to be unhealthy. Ask your doctor: it's not.
the illustrations are talking about mainly being woman. Of course it's not okay to be unhealthy, but it's TOTALLY okay for loving yourself.
Load More Replies...I liked them all but the plucking hairs around the nipples was my favorite! Goodness that hurts!
What? are you serious? I mean, what does plucking nipple hairs and eating cheese cake have to do with feminism? You think this artist is in the women against hairy nipples branch of feminism or what?
