OK I’m 62 years old and some of my tattoos are probably older than some of you. As long as your skin stays good the tattoos don’t look bad. They’re also symbols of the life you have led. I don’t regret any of my tattoos. Since it is in black though she can always have it removed and every year it gets easier and easier to remove them.
Why? I don't get it if people want a tattoo in the face or neck. It never goes away! It looks freaky, especially when you're getting older.
This is going to be nothing but a big, black blur in 10 years, because tat ink always bleeds. And now imaging it on old lady wrinkled neck....

I'm 60 and my neck looks like sh*t. I wonder if tattoos would make it better or worse.
I see amazing artistry in a lot of these, but I can't get over the placement as being a bad idea for long-term happiness for many people. I guess it's because looking back at those things I loved and cherished in my 20's - most are embarrassingly stupid today and I can't imagine being happy today with a design I chose back then.
Oh honey....there is no such thing as a good neck tattoo. The only thing they are good for is to show me who to avoid.

I prefer the smaller, simple cute ones over the detailed large ones/optical illusions (for the placement at least)
Whoever's gone through downvoting so many of these should be ashamed of themselves. Just because it's not to your taste, you don't like the concept of the tattoos, or whatever else, doesn't mean it's bad, ugly, or meaningless to the person it's on. I would never wear stiletto heels, but I don't go around complaining about how they're ugly and stupid and the people who DO wear them are idiots. If you don't like someone's personal choices about their own appearance, keep moving. No one's forcing you to look at them.

Very few of these have any reason why they have to be on the neck of all places.
This is like the issue of abortion: it's up to each person to decide for themselves whether to have it or not, and not to some arrogant churchgoers who think they can decide that for them! If you don't want a tattoo or an abortion - don't have it, but you have no right to prevent others from having it.
I never have understood front neck tattoos or face ones. It might be cute when your 20 but when your in your 50's it's going to look like s**t

Tattoo artists KNOW that ink bleeds and all the details blur in a few years. Why do they accept the work in the first place? Just imagine all those old, wrinkly necks covered in solid black blurs.......ugh.
I once saw a girl with a Yin-Yang tattoo at the base of her skull just inside of the hairline. I thought it was so cool as it was barely visible.
I had been thinking of getting a gear (from Metalocalypse) on my neck. Subtle, hideable, and meaningful. Do anything for Dethklok!
To each their own, of course. I found some of these to be disturbing to say the least. I have 4 tattoos, all of which can be easily hidden should the need arise.
Some people are jam packed with courage, I would never let a needle that close to my jagular.
I personally hate neck and face tattoos. It makes you look like a wannabe. You either look like a brain dead thug or a whore.
