All roads lead to the Olympus.

Man is by nature a being who wants to understand and explain things, within the possibilities and capacities of the individual and the zeitgeist. And phenomena that couldn’t be explained were considered supernatural and superhuman, so… it must be the gods!

Logically and therefore that a godhood soon arose in the very beginning of the thinking man. It was necessary to personalize all those elements of nature into something intelligible, so rituals could emerge to make it all manageable. Basically it was just a logical consequence that originated from the ‘intellect’.

Never thought that these primal stories would give the foundations of various societies.

Moreover… from the moment you have learned about Greek mythology you’re able to understand more about the society you live in. Because really, in essence, little has changed when you look through the form. At the core we still have the same uses, values and norms.

It’s unnecessary to start telling the Greek myths and sagas again. For that there is an abundance of source material within reach. So, needless to repeat.

The added value is especially in the translation process, from a personal perspective, to this era. Like a contemporary vision or interpretation, as a testimony from this time, in drawings.
