The Internet Is In Love With Macklemore’s Gift To His Grandma On Her 100th Birthday
Macklemore’s music videos are always a treat, but his latest one might be the sweetest yet. The Seattle-born rapper’s grandmother, Helen, recently celebrated her 100th birthday, and he decided to mark the occasion by throwing her the best party ever – on camera.
Helen may be ringing in a century on Earth, but throughout her starring role in the video for her grandson’s new single, Glorious, she proves that being completely badass never gets old. From neighborhood shenanigans, to shopping sprees, to literally a male stripper twerking in her lap, Helen pretty much seizes the day with Macklemore at her side, and you’ll probably want to call your granny at the end of it all.
Glorious, which features Skylar Grey, is the first song released from Macklemore’s upcoming solo album, his first project without former production partner Ryan Lewis. Check it out below!
