Dog Who Lost Her Puppies In A Fire Can’t Hold Her Excitement After Adopting These Orphaned Puppies
Meet Daisy, the mamma dog, who lost her seven puppies in a tragic accident when her owner’s barn caught fire. “We tried to run to the barn, but it was too late. We had to hold Daisy as she tried to run into [it],” said doggie’s owner Jessica Woodruff. Daisy was so heartbroken, and she lost interest in life. “[The dog] wasn’t eating, was walking down to the barn whining and sitting down,” Woodruff said. “My heart broke for this new mom — her litter of puppies was all she wanted.” And that’s when her owner decided to do something about the burn victim’s grief…
She turned to the Internet to spread the message about what happened to Daisy’s adorable puppies, asking if anyone has some foster puppies the mother dog could take care of. A woman named Lorna Murphy reached out. Her dog Chloe died shortly after giving birth, leaving eight cute puppies orphaned.
Daisy started nursing the babies right away, and she is just beaming with happiness. The pups will return home once they’re weaned, but at least for now, the mother is smiling once again.

I almost wish boredpanda had some type of warning: this article will make you cry like a little girl! So very heartbreaking that Daisy lost her babies. I don't have much experience with dogs, but will she become attached to the pups and be sad again when they're off?
As the puppies mature her hormone levels will even out. By the time the puppies are weaned she will be glad to see them go.
