It's also allowing bacteria to develop that are resistant to all our antibiotics. This situation has the potential to make Covid look like playtime.

I learned that the amount of soldiers stationed in Alaska that are depressed/suicidal is off the charts. Kids get stationed up there that aren’t outdoor people are absolutely miserable. They don’t have the tools to cope yet.
It's not only troops, there was documentary about lives of young people in Alaska, and it was miserable. Always same people, nowhere else to go or hide, drug and alcohol abuse sky-high... I am pretty outdoor person I think but unless you're willing to risk your life camping for weeks in wilderness there's really very little you could do.
