The lockdown due to coronavirus crisis gave me time to search my photographic archive, where I found some real treasures. In times like this, I realize that I should value my travels more and thanks to the archive, I remember those places over and over again. I've been to Morocco in 2018 and gave myself enough time to discover the country and to feel its vibes.
Every place in this country has its own beauty—from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, from the Sahara Desert to Fez, I found visual stories waiting to be discovered. It's interesting to see the contrast between the crowded and noisy Marrakech and the loneliness of the desert.
Someone asked me once how the desert smells; I've never asked myself this, but I think the right answer is: the desert smells exactly how everyone imagines.

My entire life I've been fascinated by the middle east and especially Morocco. I was in Spain in 2006 but my Ex. didn't want to ferry over for a visit. So I have not been there yet. I'm nearing retirement and this place is near the top of the list.
Hello , just for info Morocco is not middle east, but a north african country ,Mediterranean and its belonging to the big maghreb included algeria and tunisia . cheers

Even if she and my (Dutch, my uncle and I are from the Netherlands) uncle were with me. Later when I was older though, I got chronic diseases and I am now unable to travel. I would love to visit her family there. I only met a few members of her family the day she passed away. When/if I ever am able to travel again, I would love to go there with my cousin (her daughter) and my love. And visit my favorite aunts country..
In Western Europe is dangerous to travel inside the big cities :)
