Daughter Asks Her Mom To Take Care Of Her Plants, Mom Uses It As An Opportunity To Hint About Wanting Grandkids
While many people usually ask their neighbors and friends to take care of their pets and plants while they are away, most moms are more than happy to do it. They don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand, especially if it gives them an opportunity to gently intervene in their children’s lives.

When Regan asked her mother to take care of her plants, she definitely didn’t expect her to treat them like children
When Regan Speyer asked her mother to watch over her plants for a bit, her mother couldn’t miss a wonderful opportunity to troll her own daughter and happily proclaimed herself as a “grandplantrent”.
As any caring “grandplantparent” would do, she took good care of all of Regan’s plant babies. Proud grandma gathered the plants in the living room to watch tv, took them for a ride in a baby stroller and even read a book to them.
And if that’s not enough, she even filmed the plant going down the slide!

After Reagan posted these adorable photos on Twitter, they quickly went viral and gathered as many as 110k reblogs and 441 likes.
While most of the users had a good laugh about the excellent trolling, some began to suspect something. They believe that Reagan’s mom took the opportunity to drop a subtle hint, that she would like to have grandchildren soon. And what’s a more subtle way to do it, than to show what a great grandma she would be.

I know this is funny but pressuring someone to have children really is not.
Thank you. I was going to say the same. This post? Super cute and funny, but people need to -stop- pressuring other people to have kids, for any reason. It's a very personal and important decision for anyone to make (when or if to have kids) and other people need to STOP guilting people into major decisions.

People think I'm good with plants but little do they know that I just constantly buy identical plants when they die. No one seems to wonder why they never get any bigger!
My sister-in-law got tired of little plants not thriving, so she bought BIG ones. People always asked how'd you get that plant to be so big and healthy?!?!

HAH I'm currently a Grandparent to 2 guinea pigs, 5 fish, a rabbit, and several plants while the kid's at college......and yes I've participated in guinea pig facetimes.
i would do this to my friends if they asked me to take care of their plants and house in general.
I killed several of them, even the living rocks succulents.

Well my mum would drown all my plants if she was in charge. When I was in hospital after surgery I had to have a friend over at my place once a week to drain the water from the planst because mum watered them when she was there to pick up more clothes for me...

Ugh sorry but there's something really gross about pushing your child into having kids. Parenthood is not for everyone and all I see here is a mom being emotionally manipulative.
Parents don't have right to your body so this is kinda disgusting. I hope it's just a joke and the mom isn't really like this. The choice of having children lays on a person and their partner both equally and not at ALL on parents of those people, they may want granchildren, but CAN'T ASK FOR GRANDCHILDREN. Cute plants tho
