Incredible Story Of A Dog Who Walked 50 Miles In Almost 2 Months To Find His Owners

Meet Casey, the Border Collie who wanted to be with his owner so badly, he trekked 50-miles across the UK in two months in order to be with her. It all started when his owner, Carole Fossett, left Casey in the care of her friend while she was moving house.

The Collie escaped from Carole’s friend’s house from Spilsby, Lincolnshire, and went missing for weeks. “We didn’t hear anything and I thought, that’s it, he’s dead,” Fossett told The Telegraph.

Devastated, Fossett then decided to launch a Facebook campaign to be reunited with her pooch. She immediately received three calls from around the country, saying Casey had been spotted on his journey, yet still, nobody was able to catch him. Then one day, Carole got a call from Newark and Sherwood District Council, who told her that dog wardens had found Casey at a car park in Nottinghamshire.  “I just burst into tears. I can’t describe it,” said Carole. “When your dog’s been missing for two months you just don’t believe you’re going to see him again.”

Casey, whose weight dropped from 59 lbs to 35 lbs during the time he was missing, was overjoyed to be back together with Carole.

I feel bad for the poor person who was watching the dog. She must have felt so guilty about it. I hope she knows it's ok and that it's not her fault!!

OMG how sweet! I feel so terrible for what that poor little guy went through while searching for his mama. 😭 But that is incredible that he was found and he had survived on his own for two months. So glad this had a happy ending! 💖

Real life Home Bound (if you don't know what I mean; it's about three pets, two dogs and a cat search their owners. Narrative talking too)

Dogs are so amazing , especially Border collies. I have one now called Shilo (below) and I had another called Samba who sadly died 3 years ago. They are so loyal and this is just typical of them. They love their owners so much that they would do anything for them and is such a pleasure as an owner to be able to love and care for them back. IMG_0499-5...ebb853.jpg IMG_0499-5a54425ebb853.jpg
