When Joshua Smith (previously here) isn’t walking the streets with the rest of us, he’s creating his own worlds. Working at 1:20 scale, Joshua uses MDF, cardboard, and plastic to create the base of his pieces and adds chalk pastels for the exteriors. A four-story miniature building can take him up to three months to complete (even working 8-16 hours a day). “I want viewers to be fooled, if I take a photo of the completed work in sunlight, to think it is the real thing,” Smith confessed.
