If you have such a negative outlook on American Capitalism, what are you doing to fix it? We all have a choice... Look at what the gaming community is doing with Electronic Arts. They are fighting back against the bad practices of that major publisher, and are in fact getting results. Millennials are "killing" the diamond industry. etc. I do like debating current events, but most people choose to hate something, or someone just because everyone else does. I dis-like the greed for money, what-ever the circumstance. I stand by what I said. Net Neutrality was scare tactic blown out of proportion, and the Gov. should only be concerned with keeping ISPs from blocking or throttling the competitions websites. Nothing more.

No, it's not a different issue. I know all about bandwidth, latency, throttling, and everything in between. I used to do tech support for multiple ISPs. The issue I'm talking about had NOTHING to do with compatibility. It was networks purposefully BLOCKING apps that were fully compatible with their phones, but offered competition with their more expensive apps. That's not a problem now. The silly about your argument is that is that net neutrality doesn't restrict the free market in any. All ISPs have to provide open access to the entire internet. They still still have to compete for our business by providing the best service as the best price. Why would net neutrality remove the competitive mentality among ISPs?? It just ensures consumers that we're not going to be taken advantage of.

Apologies for not being clear. If Net Neutrality only ensures that ISPs offer the same unrestricted internet access and don't throttle connection speeds, I am for it. That is the only thing the US Gov. should regulate. The issues with tech compatibility sounds like a different issue (may not be, I don't know). Oh, extra credit! Latency (Ping) and Bandwidth are the main two factors that contribute to internet connection speeds. More bandwidth= less time to download / upload junk, low latency= less delay after an input (super important for streaming and gaming). in 2015, AT@T got sued for throttling customers bandwidth (they were not the only ones, they just got caught). Net Neutrality is making sure that this doesn't happen again, I also understand that the US Gov. doesn't want to spend more money and time than necessary monitoring more than just ISP connections. I'm meeting this half-way cause it makes sense to regulate ISPs. (think I got screwed up in my post feeds. lol)
